(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) often organizes campaigns to slander Falun Dafa during major holidays, political events, or anniversaries related to Falun Dafa, to reinforce the propaganda it has spread all these years. The local CCP branches within the government, along with local companies, then forward these slanderous messages to their employees.

A coworker of mine recently forwarded to many people some CCP propaganda from a few years ago. I was furious when I saw it, and immediately sent righteous thoughts to prevent others from reading or forwarding it. As I was sending righteous thoughts, I wanted the person who forwarded the propaganda to get sick and not be able to come to work. The anger lasted a long time, and I thought of ways to teach him a lesson.

When I calmed down that night, I realized that I didn’t have any compassion for him. My first reaction wasn’t feeling sorry for him, but resenting him, wanting him to receive karmic retribution. This kind of thought conformed with the ideology of the old forces, which were eager to eliminate the lives they deemed unworthy.

I was reminded as I was studying the Fa, to view things from multiple angles instead of just one. Divine beings look at things from different angles. When I saw the propaganda, I only saw the surface and believed that the person who forwarded it was not worthy of salvation. I had no other thoughts.

I also realized that when I read news online, I paid special interest to the natural or man-made disasters. Subconsciously I wanted there to be more calamities to end the world. I had no compassion.

Thinking back on what I did and my mentality, wasn’t I encouraging the growth of evil? We came here to save people, not to end the world; that is what the old forces do.

For a while I had a dream in which the old forces laughed at the practitioners in Mainland China for being too kind, to the point that we were gullible and naive. The practitioners must be kind, but we must also be wise. We are the main characters on the world stage during this point of history, and should not fall into the old forces’ trap and let them mislead us.
