(Minghui.org) My son enlisted in the army in August 2020 and needed various documents. The most challenging one was the political review, because I practice Falun Dafa. Because the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa, my practicing might impact my son.
My son attended school in another city, and my husband worked in another province. I had to prepare all the documents.
I asked my older brother to represent me and he completed most of the documents except the political review. The review needed the CCP Secretary of our village to stamp it. But he couldn’t get it stamped at the county 610 Office. He returned and asked me what the “610 office” was.
I told him that it is a Gestapo-like organization that is above the law. It is dedicated to the persecution of Falun Dafa. It was established on June 10, 1999. Out of jealousy, Jiang Zemin (the former CCP head) launched a political campaign to eradicate Falun Dafa, a practice with principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The persecution policy is that Falun Dafa practitioners are “defamed in reputation, cut off financially, and eliminated physically.” He didn’t say anything.
The following day, the Party secretary told my brother that the only way to get the political review stamped was that I must go to the local police substation and sign a guarantee statement to stop practicing Falun Dafa. I firmly refused.
I felt frustrated. After I calmed down, I was determined not to give up practicing Falun Dafa. I believe everyone has their own fate, which won’t be affected negatively because I practice Falun Dafa. I let it be.
The enlisting procedure was completed smoothly and my son joined the army.
Given this incident, I realized that it is not difficult to pass a test if one believes in Master and the Fa, thinks of oneself as a cultivator, is steadfast in the Fa, and conforms to the standard of that level of Fa at that time.
