1. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Desheng Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

3. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. He Xiaohua and Ms. Shu Yuying Arrested
4. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuxian Sentenced to Three Years and Four Months in Prison
1. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Desheng Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Mr. Li Desheng from Tianhe District was sentenced to four years in prison by the Haizhu District Court. The term is from June 24, 2021 to June 23, 2025. Mr. Li was detained in the Haizhu District Detention Center until he was transferred to the Beijiang Prison in Guangdong Province on January 11, 2023.
2. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yao Harassed
Three police officers drove to Ms. Yao’s home in Lianxi District around 9 a.m. on January 22, 2023 to harass her during the Chinese New Year holiday.
3. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. He Xiaohua and Ms. Shu Yuying Arrested
Ms. He Xiaohua and Ms. Shu Yuying from the Chancheng District were arrested on January 19, 2023 for talking to people about Falun Gong. They are held in a detention house in Longjiang Town, Shunde District. Their family members are not allowed to deliver clothes to them.
4. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuxian Sentenced to Three Years and Four Months in Prison
Ms. Yang Shuxian, who lives in Rongzhuang Village, Yuguan Town, Funing District, Qinhuangdao City, was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong in the Yuguan Town Market and was arrested in June 2022. After she was found to have a lung problem, she was released on bail for a year.
Ms. Yang was sentenced to three years and four months in prison by the Funing District Court on December 8, 2022. She was ordered to serve her term after the Chinese New Year holiday.
