(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event to tell people about Falun Dafa at Meitetsu Konomiya-Station in Inazawa City, Aichi Prefecture on Friday, February 3, 2023. Practitioners distributed information and told people how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa.
Practitioners displayed banners in both Chinese and Japanese, “Falun Dafa All Around the World,” “Falun Dafa,” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” “SOS Stop the Persecution of Falun Dafa.”
Many locals stopped and read the banners and wanted to know more about Falun Dafa. They asked about mind and body benefits of Falun Dafa. Some wanted to learn more about the ongoing persecution and the CCP’s forced live organ harvesting of Falun Dafa practitioners.

A lady read a banner and asked, “What is Falun Dafa? Is it a religion?” A practitioner explained that Falun Dafa was free of charge. It is not a religion and is a spiritual meditation practice. The practitioner further explained about the ongoing persecution in China. The lady took some truth-clarification materials and said that she wanted to learn and practice Falun Dafa. She said when she got home, she would research more about group practice sites.
A young person and his friend happily accepted the truth-clarification materials. One said, “Falun Dafa! I would like to try and practice it.”
Many locals said they were interested in learning more about the CCP’s ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa. Those who previously learned about Falun Dafa encouraged practitioners to continue their efforts to end the persecution.
Mr. Muramatsu, who is in his 70s, walked up to practitioners and said, “I learned a lot about the persecution of Falun Dafa from other practitioners in the past.” He said that the pictures and content in the magazine were very detailed. He liked it and said he would take home a copy and read it. He thanked practitioners for being there.
Mr. Muramatsu was happy to receive a Falun Dafa magazine.
Another elderly man said, “I learned about the persecution of Falun Dafa on social media.” He encouraged practitioners and said, “Keep up the good work and persist till the end!”
A man in his mid-50s walked around the practitioners’ booth area and read the information. He told them, “I know about Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I had the opportunity to watch Shen Yun in Nagoya. I think Shen Yun is the world’s top show. I was in tears while watching Shen Yun. I was extremely touched! I bought first-row seats this time and I also learned the truth about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa.”
Mr. Gao, a practitioner, said, “Many people accepted flyers and lotus flowers. Now, more Japanese know about Falun Dafa and it has been widely accepted by Japanese people.”
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology, and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
