(Minghui.org) I am a Korean practitioner. More and more Chinese people, including students, workers, and especially tourists, are coming to visit places near my home.
I feel that I am both fortunate and responsible for clarifying the truth to them.
I have been clarifying the truth to Chinese people in areas near my home for a long time. One day I realized that I needed to do it on a larger scale. I heard that many Chinese arrive and depart Korea at an airport about an hour from where I live.
There are two distinct groups. One group are those who have just arrived from China by air and are waiting for buses to leave the airport. The other group are those who are waiting to board flights to leave Korea.
For the Chinese tourists who have just arrived in Korea, we give them truth clarification materials before they get on their buses. Some tour guides have stopped them from taking the materials. However, they are changing gradually. They now ask lots of questions about Falun Dafa and don't stop the tourists from taking the materials.
We have more time to clarify the truth to the Chinese leaving Korea, because they usually come to the airport a few hours earlier than their departure time. At first I gave them the materials while they were sitting in the lounge. Some people took them, but other didn't. I always wondered how I could help those (who wouldn't take the materials) to learn the truth.
I am Korean and don't speak Chinese, so I can't communicate with Chinese people directly. I found an opportunity: when they line up to get their boarding passes. I made some hand-held boards and show them the boards while they are waiting. I made multiple boards that I put together like a book, so that I could flip the pages for people to read different messages.
At the beginning, the Chinese tourists reacted unfavorably. Some grabbed the boards angrily and seemed to want to push me down. Some yelled at me. Some tore the boards into pieces. Some bumped me with a luggage cart. Some pretended to accidentally spill hot water on me. Sometimes many of them gathered around me as if they were going to hit me.
That made me fearful and worried about losing face. But when I recalled that Master's Fashen and other righteous Gods who are assisting the Fa rectification are around me, I was able to persevere.
Slowly the Chinese people's attitudes have changed, and many have started to read the materials. I also improved and treat those who have a negative attitude with compassion.
More and more Chinese people pay attention to the truth now. Many read the materials for an entire hour. Some have asked for different materials. They also read the information boards very carefully, and they ask me to flip to a new board after finishing one.
There was some resistance at the airport when I started to talk to people about Falun Gong. For example, some janitors thought that the materials the Chinese threw away would add to their workload, so they initially disliked us. We now recycle the materials after the Chinese tourists leave, and we help clean up other trash as well. The janitors witnessed this and have gradually changed their attitude. When we are too busy, they collect the materials the tourists throw away and give them back to us.
The bus drivers also disliked us at the beginning because many tourists left the materials on the bus after they got off. We clarified the truth to the drivers, and we prepared trash bags for them to use. Our relationship with them has improved a lot.
When I first showed the boards to the Chinese, the airport staff didn't let me do it. I know that wherever there is a problem, that's where we need to clarify the truth. So I said to them, “The Chinese Communist Party is persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, and they even harvest organs from living practitioners. Shouldn't we tell the Chinese people? If we pretend that we knew nothing about this evil, wouldn't we Korean people have problems with our conscience?”
The airport staff agreed and decided not to interfere with my activities. Some even encouraged me and brought me coffee.
When I first started doing this, I got lots of pressure from my family. My husband is not a practitioner. He couldn't understand what I was doing and was against it. But when you have a pure heart to save sentient beings, Master will harmonize everything for you. Now my husband isn't against my clarifying the truth anymore; sometimes he even asks me how effective it was.
Although my daughter is young, she is very understanding of what I am doing. Once I wanted to take some time to play with her, but she said, “Mom, I'm glad if you can play with me. But when I think that you can't go to the airport to save people, I feel upset.” I was touched by her words. I know I need to be more diligent to save sentient beings.
I have been clarifying the truth at the airport for over three years. Many Chinese people and Korean people who work there have learned the truth.
I have been through lots of xinxing tests during the past three years. I have experienced distress, fear, complaints, anger, grievance, the feeling of losing face, and all sorts of other painful tests. I greatly appreciate that Master has given me this opportunity to save sentient beings. Nowadays, more and more Chinese come to this airport--over 1,000 people from China everyday. I feel I have a greater and greater responsibility. I believe that, with Master's help, I will be persistent and walk my path well.
