5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested
6. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Hou Haihua Taken to a Mental Hospital
7. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Hemin Harassed
8. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Guixia Released from Prison

1. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Tried in Court

Four practitioners, Ms. Zhou Zhaoxiu, Ms. Xia Xiuxiang, Ms. Li Chunlan, and Ms. Yan Suhua, were tried in the Gaomi City Court on December 18, 2023. Ms. Li Chunlan was fined 15,000 yuan and the other three were each fined 8,000 yuan. The verdict will be announced in ten days.

2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] The Cases Against Three Practitioners Submitted to the Court

Three practitioners from Qingbaijiang District, Ms. Wei Denghui, Ms. Dong Jinzhi, and Ms. Deng Subi, were tricked into going to the Shuicheng Police Station in Jintang County. They were told to finalize the bail pending trial. However, they were arrested and taken to the Pi County Detention Center. They were forced to undergo medical examinations and were beaten during the process. Their cases have been filed to the court

3. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Nengying Arrested

Ms. Wang Nengying from Xian’an District was arrested at her home on December 14, 2023.

4. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Dianfu Arrested

Mr. Zhang Dianfu from Changfa Town of Chengtu County was tricked into going to the Chengfa Town Police Station on December 19, 2023, and was later taken away by officer Guo Xiaofeng from the Chengtu County Police Department.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

More than 20 officers from the Wuhan City Police Department, Wuchang District Police Department, and the Hongshan District Police Department went to Hu’s home in Wuchang District on November 25, 2023. They arrested nine practitioners there and took them to the Hongshan District Police Department for interrogation. Six elderly practitioners in their 70s were released at midnight. It was learned recently that Hu was sent to a brainwashing center.

6. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Hou Haihua Taken to a Mental Hospital

Ms. Hou Haihua from Zhongqiao Village was recently taken to a mental hospital. 

7. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Hemin Harassed

Mr. Zhang Hemin was harassed at home by three officers including Zhang Yongchun, head of the Lixinji Police Station on the morning of December 18, 2023. They confiscated a photo of Falun Gong’s founder.

8. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Guixia Released from Prison

Ms. Zhang Guixia from Xinbin County was released from prison on December 8, 2023.
