(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Shuxia and Ms. Liu Fuyan Detained
8. [Songyang City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ju Guilan Detained

1. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wang Ying Detained

Ms. Wang Ying, 64, formerly an engineer at the Institute of Geochemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences, was arrested on the afternoon of December 13, 2023. She is being held in a detention center.

2. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Xiaorong Sentenced

Ms. Jiang Xiaorong, a resident of Bajiaojing Town, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by the Jingyang District Court on October 30, 2023.

3. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Yu Aiguo, a retiree from the former Dingxing County Compressor Factory; Zhang Xiuping, a resident of Housuoying Village; and another practitioner, are all in their 60s and from Dingxing County. They were arrested and detained by officers from Luxi Police Station in Dingxing on November 30, 2023.

4. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Chunrong Arrested

Ms. Huang Chunrong distributed Falun Dafa flyers in Huoju Tower in the Gaoxin District on August 28, 2023. She was identified from security cameras after someone reported her. Officers from the Puming Police Station went to her home a week later. They ransacked the place and seized her Falun Dafa books, flyers, and keepsakes.

The police officers planned to subject her to five days of detention, but the detention center refused to admit her because her physical exam showed she had very high blood pressure and diabetes. 610 Office agents and police officers forced her son to sign a document before they released her.

5. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Ms. Yan Yanfang Detained

Ms. Yan Yanfang was arrested at home by officer Guo Ruhong and others from the Huixian City Domestic Security Division on a morning in early November 2023. Her home was ransacked and she was detained for 15 days.

6. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wei Guangdong Harassed

Mr. Wei Guangdong was harassed and secretly photographed in Taizi Junior High School by officers from the Taizi Town Police Station in Zouping City on December 8, 2023. He has been repeatedly harassed, arrested, illegally detained, and incarcerated in a forced labor camp since the Chinese Community Party began persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in July 1999.

7. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Shuxia and Ms. Liu Fuyan Detained

Ms. Zhang Shuxia is from Hongguang Farm, Qianguo County. Officers from the Baiyilaga Township went to her home and seized her small pendant with “Falun Dafa is Good” printed on it on the evening of November 30, 2023. They went to her parent’s home on December 1, when Ms. Zhang was taking care of her bedridden father, who was in his 80s. They arrested her and put her in the Qianguo Detention Center for 15 days.

Ms. Liu Fuyan, from the Fifth Branch of Hongguang Farm, was arrested at home on the afternoon of December 1. Officers seized a bag of Falun Dafa books from her home and put her in the Qianguo Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang and Mr. Liu were released on December 16.

8. [Songyang City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ju Guilan Detained

Ms. Ju Guilan, from Jianbala Village in Taohaotai Township, was held in the Qianguo County Detention Center. She was released on December 17, 2023.
