(Minghui.org) On Sunday, December 10, 2023, the 75th Human Rights Day, hundreds of Falun Dafa practitioners in Bali, Indonesia gathered at Lapangan Renon in Denpasar City. They did the exercises and introduced the spiritual practice to local residents and tourists. They also called for the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa to end.
Practitioners did the exercises on the morning of December 10, 2023.
At dawn, Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) practitioners began the day’s activities by doing the exercises. They displayed banners and posters which had information about Falun Dafa, and collected signatures on a petition calling to end the persecution. They also held a three-kilometer march around Lapangan Renon to expose the CCP’s 24-year persecution.

When practitioners did the exercises, a woman told a practitioner who was distributing fliers, “The elderly people who practice Falun Dafa look energetic. It must be because of the effect of this practice.” Many residents stopped to watch. Some imitated the practitioners’ exercise movements from a distance, and others took photos with their mobile phones to capture the peaceful scene.
During the activity that morning, people of all ages happily received the informational materials about Falun Dafa. They listened attentively to practitioners’ explanation about the practice and how the CCP carried out propaganda to smear and slander Falun Dafa. Many people signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution.

Many people said they hope the persecution ends immediately. A man told a practitioner, “Human rights persecution must stop wherever it occurs.”
