(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 23 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Shuling Faces Trial

The Ninghe District Procuratorate notified Ms. Liu Shuling’s family on October 28, 2023, that she would be tried on November 6.

2. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Original Verdict Against Ms. Liu Huiping Upheld

Yongxiu County Court personnel, directed by the Jiujiang City Intermediate Court, went to Ms. Liu Huiping’s home to announce that the original verdict against her was upheld.

Ms. Liu was abused to the point of suffering a mental breakdown, and she is still unable to take care of herself.

3. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Ruiqin Arrested

Ms. Gao Ruiqin was arrested at home by six officers from the Chengguan Police Station in Luancheng District on the evening of October 30, 2023. These people confiscated all her Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and her two work cell phones. Ms. Gao was taken to the police station.

4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Jinbo Tried

Mr. Liu Jinbo of Qixia City was tried on October 17, 2023, after being held in custody for five months.

5. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Jiawu Arrested

Mr. Chen Jiawu was arrested by officers from the Tuanshan Police Station on the morning of October 25, 2023.

6. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Mao Dejun Arrested

Officers from the Junan County Domestic Security Division and the Kaifaqu Police Station in Shizilu Town broke into 67-year-old Mr. Mao Dejun’s home and arrested him on the morning of October 27, 2023. Mr. Mao was released on bail at 6 p.m. that evening.

7. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Bai Daiyu Arrested

Ms. Bai Daiyu was arrested by a large group of plainclothes officers in front of the Pengzhou City Court on the morning of October 30, 2023.

When Ms. Bai wrote a truth-clarification letter to the presiding judge Zhang, she was arrested.

8. [Shanghai] Mr. Feng Xinglei Harassed

Members of the Shandeyuan Neighborhood Committee in Songjiang District made harassing calls to Mr. Feng Xinglei on October 27, 2023.

On the afternoon of October 28, officer Song Xinghua and a joint neighborhood security team member went to Mr. Feng’s home to search the place. Due to the China International Import Expo held in Shanghai, Mr. Feng had to move out of the community and he could not live in any of the nearby communities.

9. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liu Huiqing and Ms. Wang Xiulian failed the physical examination and were released on bail at 9:00 p.m. on October 28, 2023. All her Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and 1,000 yuan imprinted with information about Falun Gong were confiscated from Ms. Liu’s home. The officers beat Ms. Liu and her face was swollen.

The homes of Mr. Yuan Enzhu and Ms. Zhang Shuqin were ransacked, and the two practitioners were detained for five days.

In addition, Ms. Zhang Chunmei, Ms. Yu Hong, Ms. Gu Fengqin, Ms. Wang Aiguo, Ms. Wang Rongxia, Feng, and Ms. Jiang Kaiying were also arrested. Ms. Yu Hong has returned home.

10. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhu Hongzhang Detained

Mr. Zhu Hongzhang was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Jinzhou City Police Department on October 24, 2023. The officers confiscated a printer, worth more than 10,000 yuan, which Mr. Zhu recently purchased for business. Mr. Zhu is being held in the Jinzhou City Detention Center for 10 days.

11. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Feng, Ms. Ma, and Mr. Zhao from Nehe City were arrested on October 14, 2023. Their homes were ransacked. They were taken to the Qiqihar City Detention Center the following day.
