(Minghui.org) I am 80 years old and I practice Falun Dafa. With Master’s protection and fellow practitioners’ help, I’ve steadily done the three things. While talking to people about Dafa and clarifying the truth about the persecution, I’ve had many touching experiences and I’d like to share a few with you.
While walking down the street one day, I noticed a street sweeper sitting on the sidewalk. “How are you? Are you new to the job?” I asked. He nodded, “Yes Ma’am. It’s my first day.” I was curious, “You look like a capable young man. How did you end up as a street sweeper?” He said, “My leg was injured in an accident last year. I can’t do any heavy lifting. It’s difficult to even walk.”
I asked, “Are you able to do your job?” He shook his head, “Not very well. I have to sit down after sweeping just a little while, otherwise, my leg hurts.” “Have you taken any medication?” “I have, but it’s not helping.” I said, “If you sincerely recite ‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ miracles can happen.” He was skeptical, “Does it really work?” “Of course, as long as your heart is sincere. Why don’t you give it a try?”
I explained how reciting these two phrases helped me. When I was in my 60’s, I suffered from the prolapsed lumbar disc. It was painful and no medical treatment helped. A friend told me to recite the two phrases. I did wholeheartedly and I recovered. Now I am 80 years old and have not had a relapse. The man was excited, “I will give it a try. Thanks, Ma’am.”
I asked him, “Have you heard about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to stay safe?” He said no. I continued, “Ever since the Communist regime took power, it has launched countless social and political movements and killed more than 80 million Chinese people. Now it is persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners and does not let people believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The Party members are deeply corrupted. They’re harming our country and hurting the Chinese people. There’s an old saying, ‘When humans can’t mend it, heaven will.’ The heavens will eliminate the CCP. Please separate yourself from the Party and its youth organizations. Only then can you truly be safe.” He agreed, “Okay, Ma’am. I’ve only joined the Young Pioneers. I quit and my family will too.”
I ran into this man again two days later at the same place. He was really happy to see me, “Ma’am! I was hoping to see you!” I greeted him, “What is it? You seem so happy.”
He told me, “After we talked yesterday, I recited the phrases that you taught me and my leg stopped hurting by the end of the day. My entire family is so grateful and everybody believes Falun Dafa is good now. My son and daughter-in-law would like to quit the Young Pioneers if you could help them. Thank you.” I told him, “Don’t thank me. You should thank my Master.” I gave him the only Falun Dafa amulet I had with me and he happily took it.
I saw a truck driver dropping off a load of goods at a supermarket. I walked up to him and said, “Hi, Sir. It’s hard work to drive all day making deliveries. There are so many disasters nowadays, some natural and some brought by man. Being able to stay safe is a great blessing. I hope you stay safe.” He thanked me.
I told him, “Sincerely reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ will turn a difficult situation into a favorable one.” I asked, “Have you heard of quitting the CCP to stay safe?” “No, I haven’t.” I said, “Human beings are facing a great catastrophe. The heavens will filter out bad people. The CCP is deeply corrupted. It persecutes good people and stops at no evil. Heaven will eliminate it. Only when you separate yourself from the CCP and its affiliated organizations can you avoid being implicated for it’s crimes.”
The driver told me his and his daughter’s names and asked me to help them quit the Party. With a big grin on his face, he said, “I ran into a good thing today. I really ran into a good thing.”
I turned around and started talking to the supermarket staff receiving the delivery. He told me, “Ma’am. I heard what you just told the truck driver. I am a Party member and my girlfriend joined the Communist Youth League. Please help us quit as well.”
After I helped them quit the Party and its youth organizations, both of them thanked me repeatedly. I told them, “Don’t thank me. You should all thank my Master. He told us to do this.”
On my way back from the farmer’s market last summer, I saw a man sitting on the sidewalk at an intersection. He kept looking around as if he was waiting for someone. I asked him, “Hi, are you waiting for someone?” He replied, “No. I am just hanging out. Would you like to sit down and rest for a little bit?”
I sat down, “Are you retired?” He chuckled, “I retired long ago. I am almost 70 years old.” I said, “Being safe is a great blessing and so is being healthy. By staying healthy, we save our children and our spouses a lot of trouble.” I continued, “Nowadays, there are so many catastrophes, natural ones, and ones induced by man. The heavens are eliminating bad people. We’re good people and good people should all have a safe life. Have you heard of quitting the CCP to stay safe?” He said, “The CCP controls everything nowadays and it is the boss.”
I told him, “The country belongs to the Chinese people. We the people should be the boss and we should call the shots. But there’s nowhere to seek justice nowadays. If you petition the government, you’ll be arrested and locked up. Falun Dafa practitioners cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance but still, they are detained and tortured. Even their organs are harvested for organ transplants. It is inhumane and wrong.”
He listened carefully as I told him about the naturally formed characters on a stone slab in Guizhou Province that predicts the downfall of the CCP. I asked him, “Have you joined the CCP or any of its youth organizations? You might want to separate yourself from them to stay safe.” He readily agreed and thanked me. I said, “Thank our Master. Master told us to do this.” Before we parted, he gave me his address and welcomed me to visit him.
I truly believe that he was there that day waiting for a Dafa practitioner to save him. It is all predestined relationships.
