(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 23 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Shufen and Mr. Jia Jingwen Face Trial
2. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested
3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Aiying and Ms. Mou Caifen Harassed
5. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Tao Falin Arrested
6. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qiu Meiling Arrested
7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Su Jinping Arrested
8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Junying Arrested
9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Luo Yanglan Arrested

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Shufen and Mr. Jia Jingwen Face Trial

Ms. Guo Shufen will be tried in Linghai Court at 9 a.m. on July 6, 2022. Mr. Jia Jingwen will be tried afterward. Their family members are not allowed to attend the hearing but can view it online.

2. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested

Eight practitioners were arrested around 9 p.m. on June 17, 2022, right after they gathered to read the Falun Gong teachings. They are Mr. Huang Zhisong, his wife Ms. Chen Lingxia, Mr. Peng Zhijiang, Mr. Jiang Xiagen, Mr. Wang Zhongliang, Zhang, Ms. Shang and her daughter. Mr. Huang Zhisong’s home was ransacked. The five practitioners, Mr. Peng Zhijiang, Mr. Wang Zhongliang, Zhang, Ms. Shang, and her daughter, were released later that day. Ms. Chen Lingxia was released on the afternoon of June 18, 2022.

Mr. Huang Zhisong and Mr. Jiang Xiagen were arrested and are currently detained in the Yuexi County Detention Center.

3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yang Jingfeng, 82, was arrested at his home in Dagangzi Township, Xiyang Town, Yongji County, by officers from the Xiyang Town Police Station on the morning of June 18, 2022. Four other practitioners were also arrested at the same time. They are Mr. Meng Qingcai, Ms. Li Guixia, Xiao Fang, and Ms. Hao Shuping.

4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Aiying and Ms. Mou Caifen Harassed

Ms. Zhao Aiying and Ms. Mou Caifen live in Beicaozhuang Village, Wangdu County. The town government officials, led by the head of the Beicaozhuang Village, went to Ms. Zhao Aiying’s home before May 13, 2022. They pressured Ms. Zhao to sign on a paper and required her to have her photo taken, which Ms. Zhao refused. They went to Ms. Mu’s home and wanted to do the same. Ms. Mu refused them but they tricked Ms. Mu’s husband into signing the paper.

5. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Tao Falin Arrested

Tao Falin (gender unknown) from Huji Town of Jingmen City was arrested by officers from the Nanying Police Station in Yicheng City around June 10, 2022.

6. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qiu Meiling Arrested

Ms. Qiu Meiling from Qixia City was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong in the Guanli Town Market and was arrested by two officers from the Guanli Town Police Station on the morning of June 16, 2022. Ms. Qiu kept telling the truth to the officers in the police station until she was released around 5 p.m. that afternoon.

7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Su Jinping Arrested

Ms. Su Jinping was arrested by Zhao Hongjun, head of the Lanling Town Police Station in Shuangcheng District, and officer Zhang Bailin on May 23, 2022, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong in the Lanling Town Market. She was taken to the police station and was released later that day. She was threatened and told that her case would be handled after the epidemic.

8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Junying Arrested

Ms. Li Junying was reported to police when she was telling people about Falun Gong in the Dawangwu Market in Anci District. She was arrested by officers from the Chouzhuang Township Police Station on the morning of June 11, 2022. Her home was ransacked by officers from the Longhe Police Station. The police confiscated nearly 100 Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, a laptop, etc. Ms. Li was interrogated in the Chouzhuang Police Station and was released around 4 p.m. that afternoon. She was placed in 5-day detention but it would be executed at home because of the epidemic.

9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Luo Yanglan Arrested

Luo Yanglan (gender unknown) and a male practitioner from Laiyuan County were arrested at 11 a.m. on June 17, 2022, because they distributed truth clarifying materials in Shahe Street, Laiyuan County City. They were released around 4 p.m. that afternoon.
