(Minghui.org) I have experienced ups and downs in my 27 years of cultivation in Falun Dafa. During these years, I have followed Master Li’s (Dafa’s founder) teachings and seized the time to clarify the truth. I have witnessed people receiving blessings after quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations as well as sincerely reciting the auspicious phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I would like to share a few of these stories.
Before retiring, I worked in the engineering department of the railroad bureau. In my job, I came into contact with many people. I did not miss any opportunities to clarify the truth to them and help them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
In the spring of 2005, I worked in a small train station. I was on the construction site supervising workers crushing large boulders with sledgehammers. Normally three laborers worked as a team—one supporting the drill while the other two swung their sledgehammers alternately.
One worker, Wang (pseudonym), had learned the truth about Dafa from me and quit the CCP. He then told another worker on his team, Zhang (pseudonym), the facts. Zhang asked me for a Dafa amulet before work one morning because Wang had told him it could protect him. I gave him one and also helped him quit the CCP.
About an hour into that day’s work, Wang accidentally struck Zhang’s left hand with the sledgehammer. The flesh of his index finger was exposed, and the wound was the size of his thumbnail. I urged him to immediately recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I assured him that he would be fine if he sincerely recited the phrases, so he did.
Wang added, “Don’t you have a Dafa amulet to protect you? You’ll be fine!” Zhang agreed, “Yes, I have a Dafa amulet to protect me. I’ll be fine!” Then, moving his hands and the injured finger, he said, “It really doesn’t hurt! It doesn’t even feel like it was hit!”
Relieved, Wang shouted, “Falun Dafa is good.” Witnessing the miracle, the third worker on the team also joined the chorus, shouting, “Falun Dafa is good!” All three of them were relieved to see that Zhang’s hand was fine!
During lunch that day, Zhang told other workers about what had happened to his hand. Over a dozen of them gathered around me and asked for amulets. I clarified the truth to all of them and encouraged them to quit the CCP. They shouted, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
We were constructing a small train station in 2006. One of the workers I knew had learned the truth and quit the CCP, but one day, he became confused and began to praise the CCP on the way to the construction site. I tried to stop him, but he did not listen.
He was digging a hole when he suddenly shouted, “My eyes were hit!” while covering his eyes with a piece of toilet paper. There were no hospitals nearby, so I told him the only thing that would help him was to sincerely recite the Falun Dafa phrases.
I cleaned his wounds and urged him to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” About 10 minutes later, I went to check on him. He told me that he had been reciting the phrases and his eyes did not hurt anymore.
In 2007, a laborer had stomach pain and he also noticed blood in his stool. I told him about a terminal cancer patient who was cured after he recited the auspicious phrases, and I gave him a Falun Dafa flyer.
Although he doubted the effectiveness, he took the flyer. About 20 minutes later, he told me that his stomach was fine and the pain was gone. He was grateful for my help, but I told him it was the power of Dafa that had helped him.
I had clarified the truth to him in the past, but he was very contemptuous and looked dismissive back then. I explained the truth to him in more depth and once again offered to help him quit the CCP. This time he readily agreed. Not only that, he asked for more Dafa materials.
After learning the truth, he shared the materials with others. He also told the stationmaster how he had recovered from the stomach pain. The stationmaster complimented me on my good deeds, but I told him because the man had sincerely believed in the power of the phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” he was consequently blessed.
When the stationmaster broke his wrist a few days later, he sincerely recited the phrases and quit the CCP. His wrist soon recovered.
A few years ago I was walking by a garden when I saw a man in his 80s lying in a raised flower bed with his cane under him. He seemed to have had a stroke and was unable to talk, but he was alert.
I propped him up and said in his ear, “You’ll be fine if you recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ It can save your life!” He nodded his head and moved his eyes, although he did not say anything.
I had to use my leg to hold him up. The old man then grabbed my hands and did not let go.
The ambulance finally arrived almost an hour later. They put him on a stretcher, but he still held my hand tightly and did not want to let it go.
