(Minghui.org) I clarified the truth to a college student and suggested that he quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations to have a bright future. He did, and it wasn’t long after that he had the good fortune to be admitted to graduate school.
He was very excited when he saw me and thanked Falun Dafa and Master Li Hongzhi (Falun Dafa’s founder) very much. He told me, “If I get the chance to become a government official in the future, I will restore Dafa’s reputation and bring Master Li back to China.”
I was moved listening to this innocent voice of kindness and was sincerely happy that he understands the truth. At the same time, I felt that the responsibility of saving people is tremendous. If everyone could feel the compassion and salvation of Dafa and choose a beautiful future for themselves, then no matter how hard and tired I am when clarifying the truth, it’s worth it.
People were introducing Falun Dafa in a park in early 1999, they displayed a banner with the Chinese characters for “Eight Features of Falun Dafa.” I carefully read the words and had an indescribable feeling. I went there for the next two days mesmerized by the exercises they were doing. The next time I went there, I took the initiative to learn the exercises from them.
After doing the exercises for a few days, I noticed that the illnesses that had troubled me for many years, including cholecystitis, pancreatitis, and arthritis were severely lessened, as the pain became weaker. As I continued, the ailments that I thought would plague me for the rest of my life had disappeared in just a few months. I was very grateful.
I was immersed in the joy of finding Dafa, hoping that more people would learn about Dafa, cultivate, and be free from sicknesses, just like me.
However, just a few months later, on July 20, 1999, television, newspapers and other media in China overwhelmingly suppressed and slandered the practice and Master Li.
I was puzzled: How could such a good practice be outlawed? Is it because the government doesn’t understand Falun Dafa? In that case, I will go to the police station to tell them about my experiences of practicing Dafa; let them understand the truth, and at the same time seek justice for Dafa and Master Li.
I clarified the truth to the police with a kind heart. I wasn’t afraid and was at ease.They, however, weren’t willing to listen, and only took my name and address.
Soon after, I went to Beijing to petition for Dafa with another practitioner. We were arrested by the police as soon as we arrived at Tiananmen Square. Under immense pressure, the other practitioner’s fear arose and she pushed the blame on me. I was forced to pay over 2,000 yuan, and when I returned home, the local police extorted more than 5,000 yuan from me.
For clarifying the truth about Dafa, I was illegally sentenced to a forced labor camp twice, detained four times in a brainwashing center, and imprisoned once.
I was taken to a labor camp for the first time in March 2000, for one year. In the dark cell, I helped a practitioner write a “thought report.” I just wanted to tell the truth, so I wrote “Falun Dafa is good!” “Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa!” “Return Master’s innocence!” among other things. The guards were angry when they saw what I wrote and retaliated against me. As a result, my term was extended by six months.
Facing the slander against Master, I stood up and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Return Master’s innocence!” I was immediately dragged to the bathroom and beaten. My whole body was bruised. They grabbed my hair and ears and slammed my head against the wall. My mouth was stuffed with smelly socks and sealed with tape, and my hands were cuffed behind my back. However, I didn’t compromise and went through the terrible ordeal with righteous thoughts.
Almost every day, I study the Fa in the morning and go out in the afternoon to clarify the truth. Here are a few of my experiences.
Two middle-aged people were selling vegetables at a farmers’ market. I clarified the truth to them. They liked to listen, and both of them quit the CCP. They shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” in the market. I was very happy for them. People are really waiting for the truth.
I had been out talking to people one time and had collected a name list of dozens of people wanting to quit the Party. It was very hot, and I wanted to go home and rest. There was an old woman picking up rubbish on the side of the road. I didn’t pay attention to her and walked past, just wanting to get home.
After I had gone some distance from her, I heard a voice shouting three times, “May you live long, Sister!” I turned to see that it was the old lady shouting, but to whom, as I couldn't see anyone else around.
I went back and asked her, “Are you calling me?”
“Yes,” she replied.
I was moved, yet ashamed at the same time, for I almost missed a life to clarify the truth to. I immediately told her about Falun Dafa and the persecution. I was surprised that she was a member of the Party, so I helped her to quit the CCP.
Afterward, I realized that I was selfish. I just wanted to go home and have a rest. I didn’t pay attention to an elderly woman waiting to hear the truth, under the baking sun.
I realized that this was no accident. Perhaps, Master saw that I still had selfishness or other attachments and was giving me a hint to look inward more, take the right path in cultivation, and help Master to save more people. I thank Master for giving me the hints. I will definitely live up to Master’s expectations, and will not slack off in the mission of helping Master save people.
I was distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in a residential community in the latter part of 2006. I was about to leave, when I saw a wide yellow boardwalk from the corner of my eye. I hadn't seen it before and thought it would be great if I could leave the community through here and not have to go through the community gate. As I stepped on the wooden boards they made a creaking sound, but under Master’s compassionate protection, I left the area and returned home safely.
Later, I had a beautiful dream, where I saw the residential buildings where I distributed the Nine Commentaries. They had turned into a colorful fairy pavilion in the sky, looking very beautiful. I understood that this was compassionate Master encouraging me to distribute the Nine Commentaries to more people.
I was taken to a detention center on July 14, 2016. I was severely beaten because I didn’t cooperate with the guards, and suffered a compression fracture of the lower part of my spine. I couldn’t take care of myself for over half a year, and had to rely on others. I felt helpless.
I lay on the bed and kept reciting the Fa, constantly clearing up the bad factors in other dimensions. Gradually, my mind became clearer. Lying in bed all day long and relying on others is not what a practitioner should do. I should validate the supernormal power of Dafa; I must get out of bed! I asked for Master’s help, and sure enough, I was able to get out of bed the next day. Although I moved a bit slowly, I was able to stand on my own.
The guards saw me from the surveillance room, and were in disbelief that I, who had been bedridden for more than half a year, suddenly recovered without medical treatment? That is the power of Dafa.
Master said,
“We have said that good or evil comes from a person’s spontaneous thought, and the thought at that moment can bring about different consequences.” (Lecture Four in Zhuan Falun)
After going through many years of torture and detention, although my lower back and hands were injured and my whole body was scarred, under Master’s compassionate protection I survived everything they threw at me. Master returned me from the hands of evil. I must cherish this rare opportunity and work harder to do the three things well.
Recently, I had a clear dream. A lot of people had been beheaded, and many children were lying on the ground tied up with rope. I shouted, “How can this be allowed?!” I untied the ropes and fed the children. I realized that this was Master’s hint: The CCP is kidnapping children and destroying them. Master was telling me to save more children, to save them from ruin.
Now, I am doing exactly what Master wants, and include young students when I go out to clarify the truth. At this critical moment, we must help Master to save all people from the clutches of the Party, let those with predestined relationships be saved, and welcome the arrival of the prosperity of Dafa.
