(Minghui.org) Having endured 73 years of totalitarian rule by the Chinese Communist Party, many Chinese people have woken up to the regime’s evilness, especially after the recent death of former Party head Jiang Zemin and the strict COVID lockdowns. Below are three stories submitted to Minghui.org.
When a Falun Gong practitioner in Ireland gave a booklet about Jiang’s crimes to a Chinese man surnamed Yang, Yang said that Jiang’s death is too easy for him and people should whip his corpse for the crimes he committed.
Yang, around 50, told the practitioner that he came from Macau. He witnessed how the Chinese military killed teenage students on Tiananmen Square under Jiang’s order during the democratic movement in June 1989. “Those military officers acted as if they were on drugs. Their eyes were red. They just shot at the students without blinking. The students fell in front of me one after another.” He was overcome by strong emotions and choked up as he recalled the experience.
The practitioner then switched topic. She asked Yang, “Do you know about Jiang’s giving away China’s land?”
“How do I not know it! A relative of mine lives in Heilongjiang Province. Jiang gave a large area of land there to Russia. He is just too evil. He climbed up by stepping on the students’ bodies and he ruled the country with corruption. Then he ordered the persecution of Falun Gong and completely destroyed the moral code of the Chinese people. That’s why I say it’s too easy for him to die this way. His corpse should be whipped, just like all those tyrants in history.”
Yang kept saying, “You Falun Gong practitioners have done a great job in getting the word out.” He patted the practitioner on the shoulder and said, “I support you! Keep up the good work!”
After Jiang Zemin’s death, many people celebrated it by setting off fireworks. “He has brought so many disasters to the country. He should have died a long time ago!” many said.
According to a Falun Gong practitioner, for a week after Jiang’s death, people in his subdivision set off fireworks every day. Many bought the fireworks for the Chinese New Year, but used them now to drive away all evil spirits associated with Jiang and to welcome a new China that’s free and prosperous.
A Falun Gong practitioner met a young woman from Jiangsu Province. She told the practitioner that during the massive protests against the extradition law in Hong Kong a few years ago, she happened to be studying there. The Chinese police found her father and said, “We know your daughter is studying in Hong Kong. You have to tell her that she isn’t allowed to attend any activities there, especially protesting on the street.”
The young woman’s father was terrified. He called her and asked her to return home immediately, giving up her studies there. She said that the communist regime did so many evil things and yet they are afraid of people knowing about it. In fact, long before the protests broke out, she had been using software to break through the Internet censorship and browse uncensored information online.
She said to the practitioner, “I know how badly Falun Gong is being persecuted. It’s exactly because the Chinese people no longer have morality and spiritual belief that we have so many social problems nowadays. The Chinese media doesn’t allow a different voice either.” She said every time she tries to bring up these things, her father refuses to listen and becomes very upset.
“I know how hard it is for every Chinese to accept the truth. You Falun Gong practitioners have worked hard on that aspect,” the young woman said. She agreed to quit the communist regime’s Youth League that she was forced to join at school.
