Why Does the Atheistic Chinese Communist Party Require Members to Pledge Perpetual Allegiance?

Dec. 27, 2022 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Karl Marx and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are against all religions. However, the CCP and its junior organizations – the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers – all require their members to swear that they will “devote themselves to and follow the organizations forever [in this life and beyond].”

In this article, we explore just why the CCP, which is atheistic, would want its members to pledge perpetual allegiance.

The Essence of Communism’s Atheism

“It [religion] is the opium of the people,” wrote Marx. “Communism begins where atheism begins.” Let us ask why Marx was at odds with religion, which teaches believers to respect the divine and be good people.

The writings of Marx published in communist China are based on those published in the Soviet Union. They are only part of the entire collection of “The Marx-Engels Institutes – Marxists Internet Archive” maintained in other countries. Further exploration of the entire collection shows that Marx was a devout Christian at a young age. His father was a lawyer and the younger Marx led a decent life, until he was influenced by Satanism.

Having existed for centuries before Marx, Satanism started out as a secret society involving incest, group sex, alcoholism, and orgy. Contrary to traditional faith systems that maintain moral values, Satanism is part of the dark force that is intent on destroying society. It believes that if someone sells his soul to Satan, Satan will satisfy all his desires. Faust, the main character in the tragic play by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, was such a person who sold his soul for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures.

Marx also followed the same path as Faust, but he went further. In his poem The Pale Maiden, he wrote,

Thus heaven I've forfeited, I know it full well.My soul, once true to God, is chosen for hell.

According to Richard Wurmbrand, author of Marx and Satan, Marx sold his soul to Satan to satisfy his own desires. In Hegel, Marx wrote,

Because I discovered the highest,And because I found the deepest through meditation,I am great like a God;I clothe myself in darkness like Him.

By selling his soul to Satan, Marx achieved his goal – he was and is still worshiped like a god in all communist countries, although he openly attacked any belief in gods. But mankind has paid a hefty price. “If we add to this list the deaths caused by communist regimes that the Soviet Union created and supported—including those in Eastern Europe, China, Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia—the total number of victims is closer to 100 million. That makes communism the greatest catastrophe in human history,” wrote Hudson Institute senior fellow David Satter in a 2017 article titled, “100 Years of Communism – and 100 Million Dead.”

But the harm of communism goes beyond killing; it has also led the public away from moral values. Like his predecessors in Satanist organizations, Marx knew that spotlighting the connection with Satan was too despicable to humankind and he thus relabeled it as atheism. By attacking religion and inciting hatred toward the divine, his hideous desires would be met.

Sworn Declaration to Communism

Targeting religion is only the first step. “Communists preach absolutely no morals,” remarked Marx. In The Communist Manifesto, he further clarified the aim of abolishing not only all religions, but also all morals.

Wurmbrand traced the sworn oath of communism back to Satanism. “Britain’s center of Satanism is Highgate Cemetery in London, where Karl Marx is buried. Mysterious rites of black magic are celebrated at this tomb. It was the place of inspiration for the Highgate Vampire, who attacked several girls in 1970,” wrote Wurmbrand. CCP leaders, too, have paid their respects to this place when visiting London.

“One of the rituals of the Satanist church is the black mass, which Satanist priests recite at midnight,” Wurmbrand further explained. “During the black mass a Bible is burned. All those present promise to commit the seven deadly sins, as enumerated in the Catholic catechism, and never to do any good. An orgy follows.”

The CCP’s sworn oath goes further, because it requires one to devote one’s life forever to Marx’s Satanism. In Buddhism, when a lay person becomes a Buddhist monk, he is asked whether he can promise “not to kill any life for the rest of his life.” In other words, prohibition of killing is a rule for monks to follow during their time in the human world. But the CCP intends to control a person’s soul not only in this human life, but even beyond death – dragging him or her to hell.

“Marxism has governed over one-third of mankind. If it could be shown that the originators and perpetrators of this movement were indeed behind-closed-doors devil-worshipers, consciously exploiting Satanic powers, would not such a startling realization require action?” wrote Wurmbrand in Marx and Satan in 1986.

Since then, Soviet and Eastern European communism have collapsed. But the international community quickly forgot the CCP’s Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989, and instead provided financial and diplomatic assistance, helping the regime become a dominant global economic entity that endangers the world.

The censorship and misinformation of the CCP has brought endless disaster to China and the rest of the world, especially during the past three years of the pandemic. It is time for us to learn this lesson and reject the communist ideology before it destroys the world.
