(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Mr. Wang Chaojie from Tangyin County was arrested again by domestic security officers in Wenfeng District on June 16, 2022. His case has now been brought to court.
Ms. Zhao Li from the Dongcheng Lingxiu Community in the Longfeng District was arrested by officers from Lindian County Police Department on July 12, 2022. Her case was brought to High-tech Zone Court on November 13.
The cases against Ms. Chen Xue, Ms. Huang Bixian, and Ms. Weng Meichai have been brought to the Mawei District Court.
Ms. Zhen Mingfeng was reported to the police for distributing calendars on the morning of November 25, 2022. She was arrested and taken to the Gucheng Police Station. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a few Falun Gong books. She returned home after 4 p.m. that day.
Ms. Liu Guihua, in her 60s, was at home on the evening of September 10, 2022. Police officers arrived to harass her and ransacked her home.
They searched for Falun Gong books. When they found them they put them on the floor, photographed them, and then took them.
Among the practitioners arrested between July 25 and July 27, 2022, in Daxing District, Jin Shuying, Liu Xing, Liu Yuhong, Dong Xiurong, and Zhang Guizhi are still being held in custody. The authorities threatened them with severe sentences.
Two other practitioners returned home after spending 37 days in the detention center.
Tian Bao from Zhifu District was arrested by officers from the Shihuiyao Sub-district Police Station on the morning of November 29, 2022. No further information is available at this time.
County police officers including Wang Zhongzheng broke into Ms. Fan Huiying’s home and ransacked the place at noon on November 18, 2022. They confiscated many personal belongings. Mr. Wang Yufu was also there at the time, and he was arrested together with Ms. Fan. Both practitioners returned home that evening.
Five police officers broke into Mr. Du Deping’s home and ransacked the place on July 12, 2022. They confiscated two Falun Gong books and a desk calendar that had information about Falun Gong. Mr. Du was taken to the High-tech Development Zone Police Department.
The officers forcibly photographed Mr. Du, tested his blood samples, and collected his fingerprints. They printed a release on the bail slip and forced him to sign it before releasing him.
