(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Shuhua Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
2. [Lushun City, Liaoning Province] The Case Against Ms. Yang Xiumei Submitted to the Procuratorate
3. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fan Zhiyong and His Wife Ms. Sun Yuxia Face Trial
4. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] The Case Against Three Practitioners Submitted to the Procuratorate
5. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Persecuted
6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Dai Mingrong Arrested
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yurong Arrested

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Shuhua Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Liu Shuhua, 60, was arrested at home by officers from the Xiang’an Police Station in the Songbei District on the afternoon of July 28, 2022. She was held in the No.2 Detention Center of Harbin City.

Ms. Liu was tried in the Daowei District Court on November 2, 2022, and was sentenced to three years in prison.

2. [Lushun City, Liaoning Province] The Case Against Ms. Yang Xiumei Submitted to the Procuratorate

Ms. Yang Xiumei was arrested by officers from the Desheng Police Station on August 8, 2022. She was detained in the Dalian City Detention Center. Her case is now submitted to the Lushun City Procuratorate.

3. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fan Zhiyong and His Wife Ms. Sun Yuxia Face Trial

The case against Mr. Fan Zhiyong and his wife Ms. Sun Yuxia from the Shenli Oilfield was submitted to the Dongying District Court on October 19, 2022. The indictment from the court was received on November 14, 2022. The couple will soon be tried.

4. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] The Case Against Three Practitioners Submitted to the Procuratorate

The case against Ms. Chen Xue, Ms. Huang Bixian, and Ms. Weng Meichai was submitted to the Mawei District Procuratorate in October 2022 after the second supplementary investigation.

5. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Persecuted

Du Dacun (gender unknown) was released on July 4, 2022, after being detained for one year and two months.

Ms. Wei Jiangmei was released on November 4, 2022, after being detained for eighteen months. She was unable to walk normally when she was released.

Ms. Geng Jianfen’s feet were injured when she was forcefully arrested at her home.

Ms. Zhao Xiuzhen was arrested in August 2022 and was sentenced to seven months in prison.

6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Dai Mingrong Arrested

Ms. Dai Mingrong was arrested.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yurong Arrested

Ms. Wang Yurong was arrested in front of her home by officers from the Zhengyang Police Station and the Xianfeng Police Station on November 3, 2022. The police also broke into her home. They photographed and confiscated some personal belongings. Ms. Wang was taken to the police station for interrogation and was released at 10 p.m.
