(Minghui.org) The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic is ravaging China, with four high-risk areas and 154 medium-risk areas as reported by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials. I wouldn’t fully trust the numbers, because the CCP has been known to cover up the real situation any time there are natural or man-made catastrophes. 　

There are also about a dozen infection cases in my region, where the first round of nucleic acid testing of all residents has been done. Public reaction has varied. Some people panicked and rushed to buy food and daily necessities; some have become numb to any news and did not react at all; some just blindly trusted the government and did whatever was asked of them. 

The reactions of our local Falun Dafa practitioners have also been varied: some talked about and followed the spread of the virus; some stocked up on food items; and some rushed to save people and clarify the truth.

Here is my personal understanding on how practitioners should face the second wave of the plague in China.

I enlightened to the following after reading Master’s (Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa) article “Stay Rational”: first of all, it has long been arranged that the plague has come to eliminate the CCP and its members; secondly, Dafa disciples have the responsibility and mission to save people in the most dangerous situations; third, true practitioners of Dafa have the energy to protect themselves from the virus; lastly, Dafa disciples who are not diligent in cultivation face the greatest danger (their own energy is insufficient to ward off the virus).

From the Fa teachings, I understand that the plague struck because the CCP deceived 1.4 billion Chinese to persecute Dafa and Dafa practitioners. As long as sentient beings understand the truth, they will be out of harm’s way. But so many are still confused, deluded and not clear about the truth. This could be part of the reason why some of the prophecies in history did not come true. Because Master has extended the time according to the progress of the Fa-rectification, he is giving all sentient beings additional opportunities to be saved and Dafa disciples more time to cultivate themselves better. 

Therefore, when the plague occurs, as a person who is cultivating among ordinary society, it is understandable to stock up on food and other items. How to prioritize our tasks is something we all need to think about. How do we help the sentient beings stay away from danger? How do we cultivate ourselves even better? What should we do to have more people learn the truth and stay safe? 

With waves of plague approaching, the opportunities for being saved are diminishing, and it is becoming more and more urgent for Dafa disciples to save sentient beings. The responsibility and mission of Dafa disciples require all of us to really pay attention to studying the Fa and cultivating ourselves well, to live up to Master’s salvation, and to live up to the expectations of all sentient beings.

Master has endowed each Dafa disciple with various capabilities. In this most perilous time, as long as we have the wish to save people, Master will protect and help us, and we will be able to save people in our own ways as we wish. We will be in the safest position to face any disaster or virus while carrying out our duties. 

This is my understanding at my level, please kindly point out shortcomings.
