A Wall in My Dream

Aug. 14, 2021 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) During my cultivation, Master (Falun Dafa's founder) has used dreams to enlighten me many times. When I was in a good state of cultivation, I would fly up in my dreams and experience many amazing things.

Today I would like to talk about a wall I encountered in a dream.

After I rose up in the air in my dream, my body flew forward involuntarily, and all the objects in front of me were clearly visible. I would also encounter walls and objects that would block me.

Whenever this happened, I found that if I wasn't moved in my mind and didn’t care about it, and continued to fly forward, I was able to cross through the wall easily, as if no object had ever obstructed me.

But once I was moved⸺for example, worrying about whether I would bump into it, then I would really be hit by that object and fall down.

This dreamland reminds me of our cultivation process: the walls are very much like those barriers and tribulations we have to face in our cultivation process.

If we aren't moved in our mind but think of ourselves as practitioners, we can easily overcome the difficulties when we follow Master’s Fa and move forward firmly. Once we use human thinking and lose our righteous thoughts, we will use human notions to derive and associate, or develop worries and fear. Then this difficulty may become a real obstacle that cannot be overcome!

This is exactly as Master said:

“…When one is attached to nothingThe path underfoot is naturally smooth”(“Unimpeded,” Hong Yin Volume II)

According to the Fa principles, when we have a pure heart that believes in Master and the Fa and really have an undisturbed mind, we have met the requirements of a certain level of the Fa.

We have reached that level and entered a more microscopic world. Everything we can see with our naked eyes can only hinder things in our dimension, but in higher dimensions it cannot hinder us and simply cannot reach us because of the vast distance.

So, cultivating ourselves well and raising our levels is the way to overcome difficulties and resolve tribulations. Cultivating from a human into a god, in fact, is tempering ourselves amidst barriers and tribulations and constantly getting rid of human concepts and attachments.

Therefore, when we run into a barrier or tribulation, it is actually an opportunity for us to become divine. In this process, if we unconditionally believe in Master and the Fa without our thoughts being moved, we would have improved, and we would easily overcome the barrier.

If we instead hold on to human notions, this barrier may block us from improving, and we can’t rise above this human level. When we completely remove these human notions, then we will be in the state of a god, and we will be able to roam freely and unimpeded in the universe.

At any time, when we treat ourselves as cultivators, cultivate ourselves well, and leave the rest to Master, there is no hurdle we cannot overcome.
