Late Stage Leukemia Patient Recovers in a Week

July 3, 2021 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) My niece wept and told me on the phone that her husband, Dapeng, had late stage leukemia and doctors had given up on him. The sudden news shocked me, but I quickly calmed down and told her, “Don’t worry. I know someone who can save him. You just need to do this…”

My niece called me back two days later and said that Dapeng’s situation had improved and he was moved from the ICU into a normal ward.

A few days later, my niece brought more good news that all medical examinations indicated Dapeng had returned to normal.

One might wonder, who saved Dapeng from the brink of death?

Dapeng began to feel ill in November 2020. He was not even 50 years old and had been healthy all his life, so he didn’t take the symptoms seriously. However his situation only deteriorated after he visited Western and Chinese medicine doctors. He lost a lot of weight and could only eat a little.

In January 2021, a friend pulled some strings and managed to bring Dapeng into a hospital for re-examination since the city was locked down due to the pandemic. The doctors immediately issued a medical crisis notice after they found he had late stage leukemia; his lymph nodes filled his belly and groin with fluid.

Doctors warned the family that no medicine could cure him and chemotherapy might even quicken the development of the leukemia. “He probably won’t be alive to see Chinese New Year if he undergoes chemotherapy,” a doctor said.

Dapeng still wanted to battle the disease and requested chemotherapy, despite the risk. He had been laid off a long time ago, so his family had to pay the medical bills out of their own pocket. However, just like the doctors had warned, his situation worsened after chemotherapy and he was transferred to the ICU. Dapeng and his family were desperate.

My niece phoned me about Dapeng’s situation, saying that she didn’t tell me sooner because they didn’t want to worry me and assumed Dapeng would be fine soon.

I have practiced Falun Dafa for many years. I told my niece’s family the benefits of the practice and explained the lies the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) uses to defame Falun Dafa. They understood the facts and quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

On the phone, I told my weeping niece, “My child, don’t be afraid and tell Dapeng not to give up. Falun Dafa and our Master can save him. From now on, both of you should silently chant, ‘Falun Dafa is good,’ and ‘Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance is good,’ repeatedly. Many people chanted these two verses during last year’s CCP virus pandemic and experienced miracles.”

“Now go to him and chant the verses together with him. Be sincere and trust Falun Dafa; everything can change!” I said.

Two days later, my niece brought me the first bit of good news that Dapeng’s vitals improved and he was transferred into a normal section of the hospital. My husband, who didn’t practice Falun Dafa, exclaimed, “It’s a miracle, it’s a miracle!”

My niece and her husband had a peaceful Chinese New Year in the hospital several days later. The doctors examined Dapeng again and discharged him after Chinese New Year.

Dapeng told his family in the countryside that he recovered and had returned home. He is healthy and has gained some weight since then. He also told them that Falun Dafa saved him after he chanted the two verses.

People from his hometown couldn’t believe it and wanted to see him in person. They visited him as a large group. They had a party at Dapeng’s house and witnessed the merits of Falun Dafa.

I wrote down this story with the wish that more people can learn about Falun Dafa and be saved.

Thank you, compassionate Master Li!

Falun Dafa is extraordinary and magnificent, and its mighty power reaches both the macrocosm and the microcosm. The story is just a tiny manifestation of the power of Dafa. While Dafa can bring blessings to humankind, Dafa’s extraordinary nature and magnificence are for people to return to their origin.
