(Minghui.org) Since July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has mobilized state agencies throughout the entire country to carry out a brutal persecution of Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong), a peaceful mind-body cultivation practice centered on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. They have gone after the finances, the minds, and bodies of Falun Dafa practitioners through termination of employment and pensions, arbitrary arrest and imprisonment, brainwashing, and extrajudicial killing, including forced organ harvesting. This cruel and bloody persecution has been going on for 22 years. 

Falun Dafa practitioners worldwide have persist in peaceful efforts to end the persecution in China. As long as the persecution is not ended, Dafa practitioners' call for an end to the persecution will not stop either.

Given the pandemic, Taiwan has limited the number of people allowed to congregate. This has not deterred Falun Dafa practitioners in Yunlin County from commemorating the 22nd year of efforts to end the persecution. They have expressed, via different ways, their support for practitioners in China, and they call for the whole world to join together to help end the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Government Officials Praise Falun Dafa Practitioners for Their Peaceful Demeanor 

Government officials in Yunlin County have witnessed the peaceful demeanor of Falun Dafa practitioners as they have persisted in following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance for more than a decade. These officials have stood up to condemn the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, calling for the disintegration of the CCP.

Legislator Liu Jian-guo said that for many years, Falun Dafa practitioners have sought to end the persecution by peaceful means, and strive to attain the high realms of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Liu Jian-guo remarked that no matter the type of event or occasion, Falun Dafa practitioners exhibit their peaceful demeanor throughout the world.

Legislator Su Chih-feng noted that most Falun Dafa practitioners are intellectuals and they are a very humble and peaceful group. The cooperation and unity which is displayed by them, especially when it comes to their persistence in their belief, is evident at all times. For many years, the practitioners’ peaceful appeal to stop the persecution has helped many people clearly see the evil nature of the CCP. Ms. Su said, “That really deserves our respect.” She also encouraged Falun Dafa practitioners, especially those who are still suffering the cruel persecutions in China, to hold on and continue to persist no matter what.

Courageous People Hold No Fear: The Annihilation of the CCP by Heaven Is Near

Li Jian-sheng, a councilor from Yunlin County, commended Falun Dafa practitioners with the following observation, “Falun Dafa practitioners are truly courageous people who hold no fear. In the face of the vicious [CCP] regime, Falun Dafa practitioners still abide by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. I believe that their fearless spirit and great love for people, through their efforts, and with the help of others, will gather the strength of people worldwide. They will finally cause the CCP regime to be cast aside by the world. Thus, the elimination of the CCP by Heaven is near.”

Mr. Li believes that the Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance of Falun Dafa practitioners is the first line of defense for Taiwan. He asks practitioners not to be discouraged. “We will stand by your side. Please continue to make your voice heard for universal moral values and the human rights of humankind. I believe that better times will soon be here!” he said.

Miraculous and Supernatural Encounters in the Cultivation of Dafa

Many Falun Dafa practitioners also came out to validate the preciousness and goodness of Falun Dafa. Yi Zhen from Beigang used to suffer from heart disease (ventribular septum defect) and low blood pressure, to the extent that she often fainted. Although she underwent surgeries to install a few stents, Yi Zhen experienced cramping around her heart from time to time. 

However, after she began to practice Dafa in 2011, Yi Zhen recovered and she no longer suffers from the effects of heart disease. Yi Zhen said, “The miraculous and supernatural powers of Falun Dafa can only be felt through one’s own practical experience. Thank you Master Li Hongzhi [the founder of Falun Dafa] very much for teaching this Dafa.”

With regards to the CCP creating rumors to defame Falun Gong, even today, and its persecuting Falun Gong for the past 22 years, Yi Zhen is quite heartbroken. Her heart aches for practitioners who are being persecuted in China. 

“We practice the same Dafa,” said Yi Zhen, “but the situation inside and outside of China is totally different. The CCP is so inhumane and so brutal, even to the extent of committing organ harvesting on living practitioners for economic profit. This is unacceptable under universal law. How can I not stand up and speak a word of justice for Dafa? The change to my mind and body ever since I started to cultivate is the best evidence of Dafa’s power.

“If I do not stand up and tell people about the goodness of Dafa and expose the evil nature of the CCP, the rumors by the CCP to defame and persecute Falun Gong will cause many people in the world to misunderstand Falun Dafa, even to the extent of hating Falun Dafa. Thus, the CCP will all the more be able to treat its people viciously. There are many people who did not know about the evil nature of the CCP, and thus became their murder assistants.”

Throwing Away the Crutches 

Hui Lin experienced a serious fracture in her right leg due to a major car accident, and could not walk. Although she visited lots of Chinese and Western doctors and spent all her savings, Hui Lin still did not recover. A well-known doctor told her that she would need to face the future being disabled – having to use crutches for the rest of her life. Just getting by each day was relatively difficult at the time, and she would need to rely on her husband and children for help all the time. Hui Ling said, “At that time, I was useless.”

Hui Ling’s daughter listened her employer's recommendation and in 2008 she brought Hui Ling to participate in a Falun Dafa nine-day seminar. She said, “ I did not expect to experience a miracle, but I no longer need crutches to walk. After the nine-day class ended, I got rid of the crutches. This is so miraculous!”

As Falun Dafa practitioners in China have suffered from the CCP's abuse and persecution for 22 years, Hui Ling feels that she must speak out for them. She said, “I have benefited from Dafa and I feel like a family member to the Falun Dafa practitioners in China. Therefore, I must stand up to stop the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa. The CCP’s hegemony, brutality and inhumane nature is known by many. This regime asks its people not to believe in God, so they are actually going against the moral values of humankind. It is an evil party that goes against human nature. Since its sins are so great, the CCP will definitely be condemned by Heaven.”

Hui Ling added, “There are still many people who do not know about this matter. We expose the CCP’s evil acts so as to let even more people learn about the CCP’s viciousness. Thus, they will not be deceived by the lies fabricated by the CCP, which results in them becoming scapegoats and accomplices to the CCP.”
