Not Daring to Expose Harassment Is to Condone Evil

July 13, 2021 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) I have been harassed by the police many times over the past 20 years, but each time I did not dare to expose it. Occasionally, when a fellow practitioner sent the information to the Minghui website, I was afraid of retaliation.

But the more I dared not expose the evil, the worse it got. For many years, on the so-called sensitive days or during the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) major conferences, the police would harass me.

Looking for and Finding the Root Cause of Harassment

I was depressed and lived in the shadow of fear. I thought I was diligent when it came to studying the Fa, sending righteous thoughts, and clarifying the truth, so why was I being harassed all the time, whereas some practitioners I thought cultivated poorly were not?

As I continued to study the Fa and read practitioners’ sharing articles, I finally found the root cause: I had a shallow understanding of Fa-rectification cultivation.

What is Fa-rectification cultivation? Master has many teachings on this subject, but I failed to follow the Fa.

I saw that, although I had studied the Fa a lot, I was still trapped in a state of personal cultivation when things happened. I repeatedly endured, trying to compromise.

For example, I dared not expose the harassment because I was afraid. Out of fear, every time I saw the police my heart fluttered—I put them in a higher position and myself at a lower position.

I felt they were strong and I was weak, I could do nothing about it, so the harassment continued.

What is harassment from the perspective of Fa-rectification cultivation?

It is the obstruction of Master's Fa-rectification and of the salvation of sentient beings. Although some police officers do not have a bad attitude, as a group they are the thugs of the old forces carrying out the persecution.

The suppression is a net laid down by a huge system from the microscopic to the surface, which Master does not acknowledge. If we don’t pay attention, it is tantamount to acquiescing to the persecution by the old forces and the tribulations will continue.

Harassment Exposed

When I recalled my harassment experiences, I realized that sometimes the police were hypocritical. They claimed that they were there to visit me since we had a good relationship and that I should not tell anyone. That reflected their fear of exposure.

Have the police ever been truly kind in more than 20 years of persecution? We can’t continue to let them mock us.

Some even threatened me, saying, “If you write about me on the Internet, I will kill you.” But if the harassment really comes to light, he immediately disappears.

The weaker you are, the harder he grabs you and doesn’t let go, because the old forces think you are not good enough. A police officer was once very aggressive in harassing me, and I asked, “Do you have a grudge against Falun Dafa?”

He immediately became powerless. These words hit at the root of the evil: Who dares to be an enemy of Dafa, the law of the universe?

When we are determined not to cooperate with them, they have no power. After exposing the root of the evil’s harassment, the police never came again, and my mind became brighter.

After we filed legal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the police started to harass us regularly. But I discovered that many practitioners have been afraid to expose the evil after experiencing so much harassment and years of persecution, thinking that by not exposing the evil they might live in peace.

Take our city, for example. This year, many practitioners in several districts and three counties have been harassed, but very few incidents have been exposed online. One coordinator said that, in addition to fear, some practitioners are numb and don’t have a clear understanding of Fa-rectification cultivation.

They think that, because the police didn’t harm them and they didn’t sign any documents, there is no need to expose their evil deeds so as not to cause them any trouble. This understanding is not based on Fa-rectification cultivation. The evil is eager for you to think this way so that it can continue to persecute you.

Not daring to expose the harassment is condoning the evil. Does that meet the standard of Dafa disciples during the Fa-rectification period?

Master said,

“... the evil is persecuting us and spreading huge lies—how could we not expose them? We have to let the world’s people see their evil nature, see the wicked acts, and see the truth!” (Teachings Given on Lantern Festival Day, 2003)

“Evil demons then capitalize on this point and inflict endless interference and damage, leaving students in long-term tribulations.” (“Expounding on the Fa”, Essentials For Further Advancement)

Evil Is Afraid of Exposure

Evil is afraid of exposure, so why should Dafa practitioners be afraid? If many of us are afraid to expose the harassment and other forms of persecution, the old forces will take advantage of that loophole, and evil factors in other dimensions will not disappear.

In addition, will the police be kind to you just because you don’t expose their harassment? Some local practitioners were harassed many times a year but dared not tell anyone.

There are also fellow practitioners who have done a lot of things to validate Dafa, but passed away or were hospitalized. Doing things is not the same as cultivation.

We have to understand from the Fa that tribulations are arranged by the old forces. If a practitioner uses the understanding of personal cultivation, rather than the principles of Fa-rectification, to treat harassment, it suppresses his divine side, and he is bound to take the path arranged by the old forces.

This interferes with saving people as well as the Fa-rectification. Only by denying it completely and not acknowledging such harassment can you surpass it, and the tribulations will end.

Exposing harassment is also good for the police because it keeps them from committing crimes and they can have a future. We should tell them that, according to China’s laws, they will be held accountable for the duration of their lives if they do not comply with those laws.

According to the Constitution, practitioners can prosecute any police officers who harass them. No matter how long it takes, their crime of harassing practitioners cannot be erased.

Practitioners Only Take the Path Arranged by Master

In a recent article published on the Minghui website, a practitioner wrote that, facing harassment, he immediately sent forth strong righteous thoughts to completely eradicate the old forces’ interference with the Fa-rectification and disrespect of Dafa, from the most microscopic level to the surface, and that practitioners only take the path arranged by Master.

After reciting the formula for sending righteous thoughts, he could feel that the conspiracy of the old forces disintegrated in the Fa.

It is a heavenly principle that “evil cannot suppress righteousness” and evil is most afraid of being exposed. There were several times over the past few years when the police harassed practitioners before the CCP’s major conferences. The practitioners then published the phone numbers of the public prosecutor, the judiciary, and the government on the internet.

Phone calls from overseas practitioners poured in. The mayor received many calls while in he was a meeting. He told the police chief, “Don’t mess with Falun Dafa in the future. Stop it.”

Practitioners are the most righteous, so what are we afraid of? While exposing the evil, we are disintegrating the evil and ending the persecution.

Our mission is to assist Master in the Fa-rectification and save sentient beings. We should not only expose harassment and other forms of persecution but also send forth powerful righteous thoughts to completely dismantle all the evil beings and factors behind the “zero-out” campaign so that those truly wicked people will be punished and the persecution of Dafa disciples will end.
