We Also Need to Pay Attention to Cell Phone Security at Home

July 11, 2021 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Fellow practitioners in China have been talking about not bringing their cell phones to other practitioners’ homes or carrying the phones when they go out to do things to validate Dafa, due to the security concern brought about by cellphone surveillance. I’d like to remind fellow practitioners that we also need to pay attention to cellphone security even in our own homes.

With ever-advancing modern technology, bad people can tap into our phones to eavesdrop or record videos of us. Even when we talk to our family members about things not related to Dafa at home, the police still can eavesdrop on them and get to know the thoughts and personalities of practitioners. If fellow practitioners did talk about things related to Dafa, then the police would be fully aware of what fellow practitioners were doing and their interactions with others.

Furthermore, some fellow practitioners said that they had seen a device at the Public Security Bureau. When the police enters any cellphone number on the instrument, it will show on the screen what the owner of the phone was doing and their surrounding environment.

Then, when our fellow practitioners study the Fa at home, exercise, browse the Minghui website or print informational materials, the evil can see everything clearly. It’s so easy for them to have a complete grasp of our thoughts and actions.

Therefore, for our own safety, when we are at home, we must also form a habit of putting our phones in a place where the evil can not see what we do or hear what we say. We should never carry our phones around freely. When we seek convenience for ourselves, we are also providing convenience for the evil to monitor us.
