May 4, 2021 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Hebei Province, China

(Minghui.org) Officers from two town police stations in Dachang County, Hebei Province harassed six Falun Gong practitioners during a week in early April 2021.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

Three Practitioners Harassed in One Day

Four officers from the Shaofu Town Police Station came to Mr. Liu Shiling’s home on April 9. They began video recording upon entering. When Mr. Liu asked why they came, they said they were just checking on him. They asked Mr. Liu if he still practiced Falun Gong, and Mr. Liu said, “It’s such a good practice, why not?"

After leaving Mr. Liu’s home, they drove to the home of Ms. Li Rongxiu, 67. They saw her shearing sheep in the yard and left without getting out of the car.

The same officers continued to the home of Ms. Wu Lianfeng, 77, in the same village as Ms. Li. Ms. Wu asked them why they came. They said to check if she still practiced Falun Gong. They told her that they would remove her from the government’s blacklist of Falun Gong practitioners if she had stopped practicing.

Ms. Wu told them that Falun Gong is a good practice which cured all of her illnesses, and urged them not to persecute Falun Gong.

Three More Practitioners Harassed

Officers from the Shaofu Town Police Station visited two more Falun Gong practitioners in Shaofu Village to harass them.

Three officers, one of them named Wang Yong, went to Ms. Song Shufen's home on April 12, and began video recording upon entering the door. Ms. Song was not home, and her husband asked why they were there. Wang replied that they were ordered by their supervisors to check on Falun Gong practitioners twice a year. Ms. Song's husband told them that she was not home and he was about to go out too. He drove the officers out, locked the door, and left. The three police officers stayed in the alley for a while before leaving.

Two days later, two police officers went to the home of 68-year- old Ms. Liu Yongling. They video recorded her and asked her if she still practiced Falun Gong.

The officers from Qigezhuang Town Police Station came to Ms. Wang Guangzhi's home to harass her in mid April.

Ms. Wang, 69, was detained twice in the county detention center from 2000 to 2001, and she was forced to leave home to avoid persecution for thirteen years. She suffered tremendous hardship during her displacement.
