(Minghui.org) On the morning of April 6, 2021, Falun Dafa practitioners in my area were harassed by local domestic security personnel. This is the second round of such harassment. During the “zero-out” campaign last year, officials from the local Political and Legal Affairs Committee harassed practitioners and their families several times.
The “zero-out” campaign is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)s’ most recent attempt to force all Falun Dafa practitioners on its blacklist to renounce their faith.
At first, they claimed if a practitioner signed a prepared letter, they would not be approached again. They claimed they would pay practitioners if they signed the letter and help them if they had difficulties. After being repeatedly rejected by practitioners, they began pressuring practitioners’ workplaces to fire them. They also threatened the jobs and future of practitioners’ children. Some practitioners were forced to sign the “three statements” promising to renounce Falun Dafa.
After a few months, the second round of the “zero-out” campaign started. This time, the approach was different. Plainclothes officers from the domestic security division would show practitioners a pile of papers and say that the province was investigating who exposed the persecution on the Minghui website.
They claimed that since they had a good relationship with practitioners, this was just a casual visit to clarify some things. They repeatedly urged practitioners not to expose them. Their tone was kind and friendly, and they called practitioners “brother” or “sister.” Some practitioners believed what they said.
Please think about it. If it’s a casual visit, why would they ask if they can make a transcript? Why would they ask if you still believe in Dafa and then use your child’s job and future as a threat? Is the phone in their pocket recording your answers? They are hypocritical and cunning, and they have developed yet another way to persecute us.
Their visit to our houses is part of their work, which is to complete the “zero-out” task assigned by their superiors. They are illegally harassing practitioners. We should not be fooled by their hypocrisy.
Master has given us so much. Shouldn’t we cherish the opportunity? If we compromise when we encounter pressure and then declare it void afterwards, again and again, isn’t this taking Master’s compassion too lightly?!
We are practitioners, so shouldn’t we think about things from the perspective of the Fa? Why were we harassed? Is it that we have human notions that have not been removed, such as attachments to personal gain, sentimentality, or fear of persecution? If we didn’t do well last time, isn’t this a chance to make up for it? If we lose this opportunity again, would our cultivation level drop again?
Perhaps the “zero-out” campaign is a second chance Master gives Dafa disciples to step out of humanness.
I remember a practitioner said in an article on the Minghui website, “As a Fa-rectification disciple facing the evil persecution, if one still treats the test of life and death with human attachments, what is left for him is shame, what is left to Dafa is humiliation, and what is left to the future is regret. Of course it is because we still have human attachments that we cannot let go of that the evil is taking advantage of our loopholes, but isn’t this test the best opportunity for practitioners to remove their human attachments?”
Facing the persecutors’ questions and pressure, some practitioners are afraid of being hurt, so they always want to use human tricks to cope and protect themselves. What will divine beings think of such behavior? As Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples, we shouldn’t be deceived by the persecutors’ lies. They go back on their word, lie and deceive. As long as the CCP exists, it will not stop persecuting us.
I would also like to advise those who participated in the “zero-out” campaign to stop being an accomplice to the CCP’s crimes. It is the law of heaven that good is rewarded and evil is punished! The persecution of Dafa is a heinous crime and will be redressed. The current pandemic is heaven’s warning. Falun Dafa is upright and righteous. Practicing Falun Dafa does not violate any laws or regulations and is completely legal in China. The persecution of Falun Dafa is a violation of China’s constitution.
