(Minghui.org) To celebrate World Falun Dafa Day and the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the world, practitioners in Saipan held car parades each weekend in May to express their gratitude to Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, and to pass on to the citizens of Saipan the universal values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Located in the Northern Mariana Islands, Saipan is a U.S. commonwealth.

Local newspaper Saipan Tribune announced the May 13 car parade the day before the event. The parade started around 10 a.m. and was completed in about one and a half hours.

Practitioners in Saipan have held car parades every weekend since May 1st, and their activities were approved by the local police department. The banners on the vehicles attest to the popularity of Falun Dafa throughout the world. Practitioners also handed out fliers and talked to people about the merits of Falun Dafa and the numerous proclamations issued by various levels of government in many countries.

After the car parade, practitioners distributed fliers, handmade paper lotus flowers, and displayed banners at a green area near a busy intersection from 3 – 6 p.m.
