(Minghui.org) I would like to share the benefits of having people listen to the programs on Minghui Radio. Neither my husband nor his father practice Falun Dafa. I used to listen to the Minghui Radio broadcasts in the mornings or at mealtimes with my family, but I stopped doing that for a period of time.
In early 2020, I went back to playing Minghui radio in the mornings. I was pleasantly surprised by my family’s positive changes in attitude about Dafa and realized the benefits of listening to Minghui radio.
Due to the negative influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Chinese people are disconnected from their history and traditional Chinese culture.
Practitioners tell stories from traditional Chinese culture in their kind and calm voices on the radio. They also clarify the facts about the persecution and help people see through the CCP’s evil nature.
I was once arrested and my home ransacked for telling people about Dafa. After that, my husband refused to listen when I tried to tell him about Falun Dafa and the persecution. He said he would take a neutral position and get facts from both sides. He liked to watch CCP TV programs at that time, which made me feel helpless.
After listening to the programs on Minghui radio, my husband’s views on Dafa began to change. He made many positive comments about the practice and described the communist regime as contemptible when we visited friends and relatives in early 2021. He clearly understands just how evil the CCP is. He also helped me clarify the facts by complementing my explanations.
Besides the important role of Minghui radio, I also realized that I should pay attention to my actions and words since my family members are not practitioners.
My cultivation state can influence their views on Dafa. My husband once refused to listen to the Minghui radio programs after I failed to maintain my character. As practitioners, we must pay attention to saving our family members because of their predestined relationship with Dafa.
