(Minghui.org) I used to be a military commander, and I was trained to destroy. But Master teaches us to be good and selfless people by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
After the persecution of Falun Dafa started, Master told us,
“...a Dafa disciple, or a cultivator, has no enemies. The only thing you have a role in is saving people...” (“Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago,” Collected Fa Teaching, Vol. VII)
After I began practicing Falun Dafa, I worked on eliminating my hatred, feelings of revenge, and other attachments. I followed Master’s guidance to save people with compassion. I’d like to tell you about some of my experiences.
My sisters, their husbands, their father-in-laws, and sibling-in-laws are all police officers, and I always wanted to clarify the truth to them.
In December 2019, I had a chance to talk to my younger sister and her husband. I previously gave them a 16G card, which included many truth-clarifying videos, such as The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the investigative report on the state-sanctioned force organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners. This time I had a chance to talk to them in person.
I started by talking about the plague found in Beijing in November 2019. I told them the plague in Beijing targeted Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members, and it is warning to all those who were involved in persecuting Falun Dafa. I told them about Roman emperor Nero’s persecution of Christians, which led to widespread plague and the eventual downfall of the Roman Empire.
I said that the persecution of Falun Dafa in China today is more cruel. More than 4,500 Falun Dafa practitioners have been persecuted to death. Some female practitioners were raped. Others were tortured into disability, and some were persecuted with unknown drugs. The CCP even harvests practitioners’ organs for profit.
I explained that millions of Chinese have withdrawn from the CCP so they won't be implicated for its crimes. Those involved in the persecution and those who have not withdrawn from the Party should be worried.
I urged them to clarify the truth to their children and their family members, show them the truth-clarifying video, and quit the Party for their own safety.
I helped my nephew to quit the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers. But years later, he joined the Party again. I asked my sister to help him understand the truth and quit the Party.
They listened carefully. My brother-in-law asked me if there was any way to avoid danger. I said, “Many people feel they’ve been blessed by remembering and saying, ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’.”
I told them not to become tools of the CCP and persecute good people. I also told them that hundreds of policemen in China die every year. After the CCP started a new persecution campaign against Falun Dafa in 2017, 110 police chiefs who were involved have died.
I told my brother-in-law, “You and your son should wake up. That was payback for bad deeds.” I pointed out, “According to a published list on a blog in 2019, ‘The Information of Police Who Lost Lives at Work in 2018 and 2019,’ of 481 police officers (429 police officers, 52 auxiliary police officers), 366 people died from illness. Of these, 310 died suddenly from sudden illness, mostly cardiovascular and brain diseases. Of these, 458 police lived an average age of 43.8 years.”
I said, “Nowadays, the police profession has become a ‘high-risk occupation’ in China because of its involvement in the persecution of Falun Dafa. Many officers who were involved in the persecution died suddenly.”
I explained that I wasn’t trying to frighten them. I was telling them the facts so that they wouldn’t sacrifice their lives for the CCP.
After the railroad system implemented the policy that people must enter their ID information when buying a train ticket, I hadn’t talked to other passengers about Falun Dafa for about two years. The train police have all my information, including the fact that I was imprisoned in a forced labor camp. Using this kind of information, the police have arrested many practitioners, some of whom were sentenced.
But the same day I talked to my sister’s family, I had a chance to clarify the truth on the train.
I started by silently reciting the Fa and sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil beings and factors that interfere and prevent people from learning the facts. I helped a 30-year-old woman unload her luggage and I sat with her.
When the railway police came, he showed me his cell phone which had my information. The woman next to me also saw it.
I thought this was a chance to talk to her. I was calm and had no fear. Both she and the people around us listened carefully.
I told them that I was kidnapped by the police for practicing Falun Dafa, and sent to a forced labor camp for two years. I was tortured and the camp guards instigated the criminal detainees to secretly put unknown drugs into my food. I was deprived of sleep for six days. After coming out, my name was on the CCP’s blacklist.
I explained that more than 100 Falun Dafa practitioners in our region lost their lives as a result of persecution, including four of my friends. One female practitioner in her 30s was persecuted in the Masanjia Forced Labor camp. She died shortly after returning home; a 48-year-old female practitioner was killed by more than twenty-four men at a local forced labor camp. A 60-year-old practitioner was poisoned and died after being tortured in a women’s prison in Liaoning province. A disabled man in his forties died after being persecuted at a local forced labor camp; a man in his 40s was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and the guards beat him with electric batons through which ran tens of thousands of volts. Afterwards he was paralyzed from the waist down.
I told her that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We tell people the truth and hope that they can avoid being held accountable for the CCP’s crimes.
She told me that she was a Christian and was visiting her sick father. “Maybe Falun Dafa can save my father,” she said. I told her that there are lots of practitioners in her hometown. But due to the persecution, it’s difficult to contact them. “The CCP does not want people to be saved,” I said.
Everybody listened carefully. Even a train attendant sat down with us and listened.
I said that Chinese people are brainwashed by the CCP and have accepted atheism, materialism and the theory of evolution. Many people do not believe in the existence of Gods and Buddhas—these spiritual beliefs were always part of our ancient Chinese culture. I said the Divine is real. The woman agreed and happily quit the Party. I told her to tell her family and friends to withdraw from the Party.
I told her that the CCP is about to be eliminated. I said that remembering and saying: “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” would protect her.
During the whole process I had no fear and my heart was very calm. Before I got on the train, I asked fellow practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts for me. I kept reciting the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts, and asking Master for help.
Master said,
“The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things.” (“Teaching the Fa at 2003 Fa Conference in Boston,” Collected Fa Teaching, Vol.II)
Master also said,
“What’s important for cultivators is righteous thoughts. When you have strong righteous thoughts, you are able to withstand anything and do anything. That’s because you are a cultivator: someone who is on a divine path and who is not controlled by the factors of ordinary people or low-level principles.” (Teaching at the Conference in Los Angeles)
Now I have deeper understandings of Master’s teaching.
After the CCP virus (coronavirus) pandemic broke out many people in Wuhan died, and everyone was frightened.
I worried about them and wondered how I could help. One day I received a text message on my phone. I didn’t know the sender, but they sent a lot of messages to people, asking for help. I received several messages from various people—they were desperate.
I could not call them, because my phone was tapped by the police. I decided to collect the numbers and send them to Minghui.org. This way the practitioners outside China could call them, clarify the truth to them and tell them to remember, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I collected phone numbers every day. Behind each number was a life waiting to be saved. The doctors in Wuhan knew that nothing could stop the virus. I knew every second was precious. No matter how late it was, I sent the number to Minghui.org as soon as I got the text. All lives were waiting to be saved.
Many cases in which people were saved after talking to overseas practitioners on the phone, were published on Minghui.org. They thanked Falun Dafa for saving their lives.
However, on March 10, 2020, the head of the CCP Xi Jinping visited Wuhan. To cover up the facts of the pandemic, all the text messages that asked for help were blocked. Afterwards I stopped receiving texts from people in Wuhan. Many Chinese people say: “Falun Dafa is saving people, but the CCP is hurting people.”
To save people, I started to collect phone numbers from people who didn’t ask for help. I collected the phone numbers of community service staffers and people working in banks. I especially collected police officers’ phone numbers.
Many police were involved in the persecution. Even though they are the persecutors, they are also being victimized. If we don’t save them, they have no hope.
I clarified the truth to several police officers. Some of them quit the Party; others promised not to persecute practitioners. To save more police, I collected their phone numbers and sent them to Minghui.org. I have been doing this for two years. After hearing the truth, some police not only stopped persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, they secretly protected them.
Master said,
“Don't overlook any of the things that Dafa disciples do. Your every word, every flyer, every keystroke, every telephone call, and every letter is having a huge impact. Beings that have come to understand the facts become mobile media, and they too clarify the facts. It's had a big impact on society.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Midwest-US Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teaching, Vol. III)
One night I dreamed that a huge field was being plowed and prepared for planting the next year. The second night I dreamed that lotus flowers emerged and covered that field—all the way to the horizon. I knew that Master was encouraging me to keep up my efforts.
I genuinely hope that more people will be saved by Dafa.
