(Minghui.org) After reading Master’s new article “Wake Up,” I felt heavyhearted. I would like to share my thoughts. 　

Master said: 

“Most of our Dafa disciples will join me as the Fa rectifies the human world.” (“Wake Up”)

I was deeply shocked. 

We know from Master’s previous lectures in various places that Fa-rectification is carried out in two phases. The first is the Fa-rectification period and the second is when the Fa rectifies the human world. I understood that the original plan was for most Dafa disciples to end their cultivation no matter how well they have practiced and return to their heavenly home at the end of the Fa-rectification period; only a small number of Dafa disciples would stay behind to assist Master in rectifying the Fa in the human world.

I understood that it’s because we did not save enough people and did not achieve the goal of our consummation that Master changed the plan. Master extended the time again and again for us to fulfill our vows. If everything stops now, we may still have many attachments to let go and we would also lose many people whom we should have saved. 

Of course, above is only my limited personal understanding. There is no way for us to know the real situation of the Fa-rectification and all the reasons behind Master’s arrangement. But one thing is for sure – we didn’t do our part well.

It has been nearly thirty years since Master introduced Dafa to the human world in 1992. How many thirty-year periods can one have? Among the seven billion people in the world, how many of them have obtained this unprecedented Dafa and how many were given the opportunity, but didn’t take it or cherish it?

We all learned Dafa “is the bedrock of creation” (“On Dafa”). Since Dafa’s public introduction, we’ve all witnessed the boundless power of Dafa and benefited from it. But in our daily cultivation, we didn’t abide by Dafa all the time and still fall for our worldly desires and emotions. When being tested, we may fail to hold ourselves to the standard of a Dafa practitioner and miss the opportunity to improve ourselves. Some enjoy their happy lives and have forgotten their mission of a practitioner.

Master told us:

“Clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings are what you need to accomplish. There is nothing else for you to accomplish. There is nothing else in this world that you need to accomplish.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2015 New York Fa Conference”)

Because saving people is our sacred mission, Master and the celestial guards are always protecting and helping us along the way. As long as one has the wish, Master will help. I have many personal experiences in that regard. Master has already arranged everything. It’s just up to us to do it, but some of us were held back by our attachments and did not carry out our duties.

In terms of the specifics of what we can do to save people, if one can go out to clarify the truth daily, that is great; but if one does not have the opportunity, there are still many other things we can do. 

For fellow practitioners who have full-time jobs, they might distribute some informational materials on their way to work. It doesn’t have to be much. Even if they only distribute one copy each day, that would still be helpful.

Young fellow practitioners usually don’t have as much time to go out to talk to people face to face, like senior practitioners do. But they can do many projects online, such as sending emails. The software developed by fellow practitioners is very safe. As long as we follow the instruction, there wouldn’t be any problem. 

Fellow practitioners can also write articles to expose the local persecution or cultivation experience sharing articles to inspire others, as well as collecting phone numbers of sentient beings or perpetrators for overseas practitioners to call them. Sometimes one phone call can save a person and the gigantic world with countless beings he represents.

Even if we can’t do any of the above, we can still extend the time in sending forth righteous thoughts to support other practitioners in their efforts to save people.

Master taught us:

“Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. IV)

When I began practicing Dafa in 2012, Dafa revealed a great deal for me in my cultivation: I saw many fellow practitioners suffering much hardships in many lifetimes, just to obtain Dafa in this life; some sentient beings also suffered a great deal in their previous lives, just to have a chance to meet a Dafa disciple in this life; not to mention the fact that we came down and left our Divine standing behind, in order to get the holy opportunity to assist Master in Fa-rectification today.

I really admire and respect veteran fellow practitioners who have experienced the ups and downs since 1999. What they have gone through in the darkest time of persecution is not something ordinary people can imagine. If in the end, they fail in their cultivation due to their slacking off or not letting go of some long-standing attachments, that would be too sad.

Let us seize the last leg of our journey to cultivate ourselves well, save more people, let go of human hearts one at a time, be more understanding and accommodating to fellow practitioners, and keep moving forward and validating Dafa in the world.
