Understandings on Submitting New Year Greetings

Dec. 29, 2021 |   By a practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) It is that time of the year again and as usual I am submitting a greeting card to Minghui on behalf of my family to thank Master Li Hongzhi (Falun Dafa’s founder). While pondering what to write on my card, I thought about my cultivation path in the past 20 plus years and felt so grateful.

In terms of meeting Master’s requirements of Falun Dafa disciples, I know that I still have a long way to go. But over the years Dafa has changed me into a totally different person than the old me who was lost in life. I am so fortunate to have obtained Dafa and understand the true meaning of life. I have been elevating my levels by aligning with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

On the cultivation journey to return to my origin, I had moments of feeling timid, down, and frustrated. But Master has taken care of me and enlightened me to Dafa principles along the way. As long as I keep studying Dafa teachings and doing the three things as required by Master, I will continue making progress.

In the past, I had always considered submitting greetings an opportunity to show my gratitude to Master and subsequently enable sentient beings to realize Dafa disciples’ utmost respect for Master and help them be saved. This time around I suddenly came to the understanding that Master will use every possible opportunity, including submitting greetings, to help disciples reflect on our cultivation journey and strengthen our determination to remain diligent and do better the three things. Moreover, Master has given us the best to cultivate ourselves well and save more people.

In summary, when preparing for the New Year greetings, I felt that my mind and body were further purified with many bad elements removed. I will strive forward more diligently so as to not let down Master’s painstaking salvation of me.

I thank Master again for everything!
