(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ruifeng Tried in Court Again

A second hearing was held for Ms. Wang Ruifeng by the Linghai Court via the Internet on November 16, 2021. The hearing was scheduled to start at 2 p.m. but the time was changed to 1:30 p.m., thirty minutes earlier. The hearing lasted only 20 minutes. The procurator announced an update statement, changing the original suggested sentence of two years and six months in prison to four years and six months.

Ms. Wang’s family member, as a defender, made an appeal for Ms. Wang, but the court clerk did not enter the appeal into the transcript.

2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Case Against Ms. Wang Xiufeng Submitted to the Procuratorate

Ms. Wang Xiufeng, 59, lives in Shijiakou Village, Xisanli Township, Zunhua City. Miao Aidong, head of the Zunhua City Domestic Security Division, led the officers under him and officers from Xisanli Township to Ms. Wang’s home at around 8 a.m. on October 15, 2021. They jumped over the wall to enter Ms. Wang’s home and arrested her. The case against her has been submitted to the Zhunhua City Procuratorate.

3. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Zhisheng Arrested

Mr. Wang Zhisheng lives in Yejiabu Village, Cuiping Sub-district, Qixia City. Several police officers went to his home on the morning of November 18, 2021 and arrested him.

4. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Peipei Arrested

When Ms. Liu Peipei went to the Yulong Junior Middle School to pick up her son on the morning of November 18, 2021, several police officers arrested her. She was taken to the Beigu Township Police Station in the Economic Development District. Her home was ransacked, but the police did not find anything they were looking for. Ms. Liu was released that afternoon.

5. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Kuihua Arrested

Ms. Yan Kuihua was arrested at her sewing shop in Jixia Sub-district, Linzi District on the afternoon of November 15, 2021. Officer Wang Qingtao and others from the Sunlou Police Station went there in Wang’s car and were dressed in plain clothes. They took Ms. Yan to her home in Yanjia Village, Jixia Sub-district. They ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and copies of Minghui Weekly. Ms. Yan quickly locked the gate to prevent them from getting away. The police broke the metal gate and the house lock with a rock, and took Ms. Yan to the police station. Ms. Yan was released at around 6:30 p.m. that evening.

6. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Liguo Faces Charges

Mr. Wang Liguo was arrested on October 19, 2020 for talking to people about Falun Gong in Wuzhishan Park. He was taken to the Tiexi Police Station and was later held for 15 days in a detention house, and then for 14 days in a detention center. He was released on bail pending trial.

An officer from the Tiexi Police Station took Mr. Wang to the Xing’an District Procuratorate on November 16, 2021. He is now facing charges.

7. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Yuping Arrested

Ms. Chen Yuping, in her 70s, was arrested by officers from the Dongmen Street Police Station on the afternoon of November 17, 2021. Her home was ransacked. She was released at around 9 p.m. that evening.

8. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gao Deyu Harassed

Ms. Gao Devu, 81, was released from prison in 2019 and returned to her hometown, but she was constantly harassed by local police and community members. She went to live with her second son in Chongqing in 2021. Three police officers went to her son’s home on October 25, 2021. They took photos of her and pressured her to sign a guarantee statement, which she refused. In the following days she realized that she was being followed whenever she went out.

9. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Xiulian Arrested

Ms. Sun Xiulian, who lives in Daxu Village, Zhangdian District, was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was recently arrested by local police.

10. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Naifen Arrested and Detained

Five officers, including Xu Jianlu from the Langfang Police Station, went to Ms. Liu Naifen’s home on November 16, 2021. They tricked Ms. Liu into going with them. Ms. Liu did not return home. Her family later learned that Ms. Liu was taken to the Langfang Detention Center.

11. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Fengzhen Arrested

Ms. Li Fengzhen was arrested by officers from the Dong District near the Zhoukou Teachers College at around 7 p.m. on October 26, 2021, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked and her personal belongings were confiscated, including her Falun Gong books, media player, amulets, etc. She is currently being held in the Zhoukou City Detention Center.

12. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Bingmei Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Song Bingmei from Yinan County was taken to a brainwashing center, where she was held for three days, November 7-9, 2021. Two persons from Linyi City tried to brainwash her as part of the “Zero-out” campaign.

13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Shi Lianying and Ms. Yin Yanfeng Arrested

Officers from the Jiutai District Police Department and the Shanghewan Police Station went to Ms. Shi Lianying’s home in three police cars on the morning of November 17, 2021. They arrested Ms. Shi Lianying and Ms. Yin Yanfeng. Ms. Shi was released that evening. Ms. Yin was detained in Jiutai District.

14. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jinying Arrested and Detained

Ms. Zhang Jinying was arrested at her workplace around September 4, 2021. She has been held in the Lijiabu Detention Center for over two months.
