(Minghui.org) As the high school entrance exams approached, my students were under a lot of pressure. At work, I was always careful to conduct myself according to Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The students liked my class because I was always considerate of them. They knew that I practiced Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa.
The students were about to graduate, and I hadn’t had a chance to help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I’d planned to clarify the truth to them when they were studying in the evening, but at first I worried about affecting their test scores. Through calmly studying the Fa, I firmly believe that Buddha Law is boundless and Dafa is omnipotent; clarifying the truth is the most important thing, and students will get better results if they are saved.
During a few of the evening study sessions, I showed students clips from the Nine Commentaries documentary that discuss the persecution of Dafa practitioners and how the CCP illegally harvests their organs for profit. Some students cried, others said that what their textbooks said about Falun Gong was false. The top student in my class said that he had been deceived by the CCP.
I told them with tears in my eyes, “I am standing here today to clarify the truth to all of you even though I am facing the danger of having my organs removed. Still, I have to tell you this for the good of your future. It is my responsibility and out of my sincere concern for you. When you go home, I encourage you to tell your family what I’ve told you today.”
I encouraged them to live by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and to help each other. I told my students who got the best grades to help their classmates who didn’t do well academically because it would be an act of compassion. I told the students who were helped that they should appreciate those who helped them.
Approaching graduation, the evening study session was the hardest part of the students’ day. I would play the music “Pudu” and “Jishi” when the students were studying. I told them that listening to this music would not just help them relax but would also unlock their wisdom and would make their final days in school go smoothly.
In the end, all of them chose to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. This class came in number one in the college entrance exam, with the second-highest scoring class far behind. Thank you, Master, for your great compassion! A student wrote me a note that said, “Teacher, I will remember your kind thoughts and hope that you safely spread kind thoughts.”
At the final exam, I had not taught many of the students whom I oversaw. During the exam, I kept sending forth righteous thoughts and used the break time to ask the students to answer two multiple-choice questions.
For students around 13 years old, I introduced the activity like this: “I was helping a friend abroad to do a social survey.” (I thought to myself that fellow practitioners abroad on the quit the CCP website are all my friends, so that was a truthful thing to say).
“How many students in China who are about 13 years old know what their ancestors were like?” Every time the students who heard this question looked at me innocently and earnestly. “Let’s have two questions. The first one is: ‘Which is good? A. Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance or B. dishonesty, wickedness, and intolerance?’ (I’d write the question and choices on the chalkboard if time permitted.) Please tell me aloud.” The students would reply together: “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance!” (This was the most beautiful sound I heard in class).
The second multiple choice question I wrote on the chalkboard was: “Choose one of the two:”
A: Be a descendant of YanhuangB: Be an heir of (Marxist-Leninist) communism
When some students said that they wanted to choose both, I explained why choice A—to be a descendant of Yanhuang—was the best answer. I told them that the Chinese have always believed that good is rewarded and evil incurs retribution and that we respect heaven and earth. “The Temple of Heaven in Beijing is where all emperors respected heaven and earth. We Chinese are the descendants of Yanhuang, who always believed in Gods. To choose B, to be a successor of (Marxism-Leninism) communism, goes against heaven, against earth, and against humanity. It is not kind. It does not believe in Gods or that good is rewarded and evil punished. That means A and B are mutually exclusive because they are completely different.
“You have read many legends. Think about it. If you are a descendant of Yanhuang, then you cannot be the successor of communism. I believe that you will choose A and acknowledge our true ancestors. I would ask each student who chooses A to hand in a piece of paper with their name on it, while those who choose B hand in a blank piece of paper.”
Because of my limited understanding, I didn’t say the words “Falun Gong.” However, when I left the classroom, I did hear some students mention Falun Gong!
Using the method of doing multiple-choice questions, many students whom I didn’t teach chose Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and to be a descendant of Yanhuang and gave up being an heir of communism! Because there was so little time, I think the students’ choices were based on their traditional cultural foundation.
Because of limited time, about three-quarters of the students (over 30 of them) chose to be a descendant of Yanhuang. Sometimes when we were about to consider the multiple-choice questions, the headteacher might come to check on the students. I would advise them to come back later. Thanks to the efforts of the Dafa practitioners in our school, most of the teachers knew the truth and silently supported us.
I learned on the Minghui website that practitioners in Changchun were being severely persecuted. I had been wondering what I could do for them and thought about sending truth-clarification letters to lawyers in Changchun. I got a list of law firms in Changchun from a legal website. I mailed a truth-clarification letter to every lawyer in Changchun, including in all counties and townships. Then I mailed each law firm in Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Shandong, Hebei, and Henan Provinces. I mailed hundreds of letters to each province. I also mailed them to some university professors and police stations all over the country. At first, I used to worry if they would read such a plain letter. Another practitioner who also sent letters to clarify the truth encouraged me, saying that as long as our intention was pure, Master would help us!
At the beginning of the pandemic, I didn’t feel very much affected, but a sense of responsibility arose in me. With the improvement of my xinxing, the environment for preparing materials suddenly got easier during the pandemic. First, I distributed pamphlets prepared by fellow practitioners in my community. Then I started printing brochures about the pandemic. Minghui’s timely brochures gave me a sense of urgency!
One day as I studied the Fa and read the word “disciple,” I started to cry and couldn’t hold back my tears. At that moment, I felt that I was truly Master’s disciple! Thank you, Master! Master’s words are plain and concise. I sincerely listen to Master and practice earnestly. I studied the Fa, practiced the exercises, and steadily spread the truth!
During the pandemic, I had a very vivid dream that I was sitting in a car that went so fast that I could hardly think. I didn’t know how long it took, but I ended up in an infinitely large place with no sun. There were incinerators reducing people to ashes all over the surrounding mountains. It seemed there were also many incinerators underground. People were lined up waiting to be cremated. I was petrified and frantically looked for an exit but couldn’t find one. At that critical moment, I started to shout, “Falun Dafa is good,” as I ran. The ashes from the burning corpses hurt my throat but I still shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” Then I heard the people waiting to be cremated begin to shout, “Falun Dafa is good!” I was shocked in my dream and finally ran out and saw the sun!
When I woke up, I could not calm down for a long time. It was very, very painful and also frightening. What was so painful was that so many sentient beings were waiting for Dafa disciples to save them, but I was still far from meeting Dafa’s standards. I was afraid that Dafa disciples could not cultivate well and would lose too many people.
The above is my personal experience and understanding. Please correct me if I’ve written anything not aligned with the Fa.
