(Minghui.org) Over the last few months, I slacked off in my Fa study, suffered many setbacks, remained in a defunct spirit, and did not want to do anything. 

When the U.S. election began, I was sending righteous thoughts all day long. I was very energetic in the beginning, but after witnessing Trump's “repeated defeats,” I slowly became more and more lax. Especially after the incident at Capital Hill and Congress' certification of the presidential election winner on January 6, I felt disappointed, frustrated, and even began to complain about Trump.

I realized that my mind was not in the right place. What went wrong? Why was I affected so much by the worldly affairs and why did I develop so many negative thoughts? Looking within, I found that my firmness in the Fa had wavered, and my righteous faith had faltered. When I realize this, I felt terrible. This was an extremely dangerous state!

As a veteran practitioner, when faced with the onset of the persecution in July 1999, I was as firm as a rock. But now, in a relaxed and comfortable environment, I have unknowingly shaken the foundation of my cultivation, which is extremely dangerous! When I discovered my fundamental problem, I no longer let myself be influenced by human emotion or be fooled by the false and fake information. Only then am I able to see the Divine arrangement of the U.S. election. 

Personally, I understand that the pandemic will only get worse after the U.S. election. During this period, the president of the United States will face unprecedented difficulties, including massive deaths from the plague and a sluggish economy. At the same time, the American people will experience firsthand the devastating consequences of communist rule. Maybe this is another chance given by the Divine to awaken people and let people see the truth for themselves.

Perhaps the current situation was arranged by the old forces. But we shouldn’t concern ourselves with the details or follow the hearsay and gossip. There are so many things we don’t understand. 

By studying the Fa, we all know that the Divine does not only look at the current results or immediate gains and losses, but also the bigger impact for the future. We cultivators can't just care about our own momentary feelings.

No matter what happens, what we need to do right now is to take the three things more seriously, be more diligent in our cultivation, work harder to save people, and have firm faith in the Fa and the Divine's arrangements. In the not-too-distant future, the time when mankind repays Dafa is bound to come.
