(Minghui.org) Two days after the U.S. election on November 3, 2020, I saw a heavenly book engraved with the words “Trump was elected in 2020” while meditating (my celestial eye is open during cultivation). I have always believed that he is the true leader of the United States.

But after Christmas, many of our local practitioners talked a lot about “not becoming attached to the election results” and so on. Some of them showed an indifferent attitude to whoever may end up winning the election, which made me a little confused.

At first I complained a little bit about these practitioners with negative thoughts, but soon I realized that my own negative thoughts made me get stuck in the problem. In recent weeks, I have been thinking: “What is going on?”

After returning from my trip to Washington D.C., when I studied Fa teachings, Master enlightened me again:

“It's to give human beings a chance to return, a chance to cultivate while being in delusion. While not being able to see the true picture, if humans are still able to do well and on top of that persist in cultivating amidst suffering, then that's the key to returning.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. V)

I came to the understanding that the idea of “not becoming obsessed with the election results” is actually about not considering the presidency as an outcome, and not becoming pessimistic or depressed because of the temporary setback. On the contrary, it is more important to persist in defending the truth in the midst of hardships, and the tribulation is just a bump on the road to the truth.

Personally, I feel that this is the American version of “July 20”; when the police led Trump supporters into the Capitol on January 6, it seemed like a historical reenactment of the “April 25” setup for Falun Dafa practitioners.

On the surface, the flames of the furnace of evil are high, but in fact they are also in Master's plan – beating evil at its own game and using the fire to temper and fulfill the good people who dare to stand up and fight for the truth.

Since the United States is the beacon of freedom in the world and a warrior for global human rights, the battle of the century between good and evil will eventually be fought here as well.

At the old cosmos enters its final stage of being destroyed, all lives must make a choice and position themselves. It is only those who choose to defend the truth and work tirelessly in the midst of great difficulties that can be selected to enter the new universe.

Master told us:

“That's because gods awaken a being at a fundamental level, and enliven a being's Buddha-nature at a fundamental level.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. IV)

I realized that one's enlightenment does not come from coercion or an order from the authorities. Those Americans who are carrying out the battle of ideology and spiritual movement are the people who have independent thinking and dare to challenge the framework of political correctness. They are making choices based on who they really are, rather than any human theory or notion. They are the beings who are truly awakened from the fundamental level.

Meanwhile, the collapse of the old cosmos and the demise of the demons that interfered with Fa-rectification is also reflected in the collapse and failure of the old establishment in the human realm.

In the United States, we are seeing too many Americans who rely on the mainstream media or the authorities to tell them how to think, rather than trusting their own judgment, which is precisely why it is so difficult for these lost people to awaken to the truth. When one cannot be faithful to one's conscience, doesn't one get further and further away from their true self?

“It's not the end. It's just the beginning.” On January 6, in the freezing wind, when I heard Trump say this in the “Save America” rally, I couldn't help but shout: “Yes!” His courage and resilience shined through. And even when he was under fierce attack after being framed for the Capitol Hill event, he still said, “The amazing journey is just started.”
‭‬Trump uses his fiery path and enormous bearing to fulfill his role in this chapter of the epic battle between good and evil. This election has allowed more Americans to realize the evilness of communism and thus begin a spiritual awakening, after witnessing the corruption of the administrative system, the collapse of the judicial system, the lies of the mainstream media, the exposure of the creatures in the deep-state and the fall of the establishment elites.

When people feel stressed and sad, it is also an opportunity for them to go back to their faith and develop stronger conviction in this test.

The old cosmos has to complete the cycle of formation, stasis, degeneration and destruction, and those who can make it to the future will have a new perspective of right and wrong, good and bad, righteous and evil.

It will be a serious lesson for mankind for many years to come that the politicians have gradually fallen victim to enticement by communism over the decades, lost their courage to uphold justice while indulging in comfort and pride, and even sold their conscience for money and power.

When faced with the slowly degenerating situation, many people added fuel to it, instead of trying to stop it. This has also caused the choice for people to be saved today even harder. Now, with the completely rotten system in front of them, they can only be saved when they can rise above and beyond and make the hard choice despite all the despair.
