(Minghui.org) On September 5, 2020 the Montreal Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) held a car tour to advise people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Ten cars displaying banners started from Chinatown at 1:00 p.m. and drove through the downtown business center, Chinatown and old town—all popular tourist destinations. The banners were written in Chinese, French and English. Many drivers of passing vehicles honked their horns to show their support. Several people gave thumbs up.
“This method is very good,” one man said when the car tour passed by the Old Town Place d'Armes, a well-known tourist attraction in Montreal. He said he knew that the CCP covered up the coronavirus epidemic and suppressed freedom in Hong Kong. He said that the tour was held at a good time, during the long Labor Day weekend, because many people were in the city.
The car tour lasted three hours. The coordinator said the event was successful and the effect was good. Each time the parade of cars stopped for traffic lights, people asked about the event.
The coordinator pointed out that the coronavirus has affected the entire world, “At this special time, we advise the Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP for a safe future.”
At the same time, an event was held in Chinatown where several Falun Dafa practitioners held large banners to inform people that over 360 million Chinese people have quit their memberships in the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
