(Minghui.org) Lian is a farmer in her 50s. She had a hard lump on her left breast; it did not have any pain but would break the skin from time to time. Blood and pus would also ooze out. Unable to afford the treatment at the time, she would just clean the wound and carry on with her life.
After she began practicing Falun Gong in 1996, most of her illnesses soon disappeared, but the lump was still there.
A few years later, her left breast began hurting, about ten days before her family was set to renovate their house. The skin was discolored due to the significant swelling. Her left arm and underarm felt shooting pain and she could not lift the shovel.
Lian remembered Master's teaching:
“There is a transition at the lowest level of cultivation, and this is to purify your body completely. All of the bad things in your mind, the karmic field surrounding your body, and the elements that make your body unhealthy will be cleaned out.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
She knew it was time for her body to be purified. She began to recite: “When it’s difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it’s impossible to do, you can do it.” (Lecture Nine, Zhuan Falun)
With Master's reinforcement, she was able to carry out the renovation work without others noticing her struggle.
She began intensifying her Fa study at night and sending forth righteous thoughts. She felt secure that she has Master and Fa teachings. She was not afraid.
Her sister-in-law later noticed her discomfort and was concerned for her health. She told Lian that there was a villager who had similar symptoms and died from it. She urged Lian to see a doctor. Lian explained to her that what happened to her was different. “I am going through cleansing; it is a process during my cultivation. Do not worry. I have a Master that guides me.”
Quickly, her family members all learned of her condition, her husband and son were extremely worried. Her husband watched over her all night and checked on her from time to time to make sure she was still alive. Lian told him again to ease his anxiety: “I take seriously my well being, I hope you understand that this is body purification. I don't do things recklessly, and you know that.”
Fellow practitioners in the village also helped and encouraged her.
Several days later, the swelling on her breast subsided some. The skin near the nipple opened and lots of blood and pus oozed out. Lian cleaned the wound often, and gradually, the egg-sized wound healed!
The process repeated itself several times. Lian did not waver. She believed Master was helping her rid the root problem. Eventually, her lump was gone and all the symptoms disappeared!
All her family members as well as relatives all exclaimed: “Falun Gong is truly amazing!”
