(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held activities to raise awareness in downtown Munich on July 10, 2020. A passerby named Theresa Ebner paused to watch their exercise demonstration and started to follow along doing the movements.
Theresa later talked with some practitioners. She signed a petition against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, and said Falun Gong practitioners persevere in their belief while facing such persecution. She thought this forbearance manifested strong inner power. She expressed interest in learning Falun Gong.
The practitioners had set up banners and posters to introduce the spiritual practice and explain the CCP’s two-decade-long persecution. They explained to people that Falun Gong is a practice from the Buddha school which requires people follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in their daily lives.
“I heard of Falun Gong in the 1990s,” Theresa said. “I know about the persecution and the suffering of these people [practitioners]. They wish to be good people.”
She thought the CCP regime was overly paranoid to persecute these innocent people.
“These people bear physical pain,” she said, “Their families suffer persecution too. Many practitioners are killed for their organs. Nevertheless, they continue to practice. This manifests an inner power that I dream of. I don’t have this ability yet, but maybe I’m working towards this direction.”
Theresa she said she wished more people could watch and have a sense of the exercise movements, to really experience the exercise demonstration and through it be able to appreciate “a brand new horizon.”
A young mother and her friend signed the petition. The young mother said that the CCP murders people for their organs, which shows just how mankind's morals have degenerated. She said that many people turned a blind eye to the CCP’s organ trafficking, or chose to play deaf and mute, while they concerned themselves only with their economic interests.
Falun Gong was first taught to the public in 1992. Nearly 100 million people across China soon started to practice Falun Gong, after experiencing improvements in their health and character. Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline's growing popularity as a threat to the CCP's atheistic ideology and issued an order to persecute Falun Gong on July 20,1999.
Under Jiang's personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Gong.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in the persecution over the past 21 years, though the actual number of deaths is suspected to be much higher. Countless more have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
The CCP sanctioned the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, and Falun Gong practitioners are murdered to supply China's highly profitable organ transplant industry.
Facing the brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners raise awareness of the persecution and spread the grace of the spiritual practice.
