(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in seven provinces, where at least 32 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Nine Practitioners Facing Trial

Over 30 officers from the domestic security, procuratorate, and the court arrested Ms. Shen Hongqi, Ms. Xu Mingxia, Ms. Jiao Binglan, Ms. Wang Yalan, and five other practitioners while they were studying the Falun Dafa teachings together. Their homes were ransacked.

They were scheduled to be tried by the Qishan County Court on June 18, 2020. However, the trials were delayed due to the current pandemic.

Ms. Wang is being held in the Baoji Detention Center.

Ms. Xu went on a hunger strike and was taken to the Qishan Chinese Medicine Hospital.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Zhao’s Case Turned Over to Court

Mr. Zhang Zhao’s lawyer informed Mr. Zhang's family on June 9, 2020, that his case had been turned over to the Kuiwen Court a few days earlier.

3. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Laiqin and Her Husband Mr. Niu Huailin Arrested

Ms. Wang Laiqin and her husband Mr. Niu Huailin from Kongyu Village, Linqi Town, Linzhou City were arrested by over 20 officers from the Linqi Police Station and the Linzhou Domestic Security Division on the morning of June 23, 2020.

4. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Jin Changlin Arrested and Monitored after Release

Mr. Jin Changlin was arrested in early June 2020 and was later released.

He was arrested again and handcuffed on June 18, and taken to the Wujiang Procuratorate.

Mr. Jin has since returned home, but has been followed and monitored.

5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested, Two of Them Released

Mr. Sun Li was arrested by officers from the Dongyao Police Station on May 31, 2020.

Mr. Zhuge Wei from the Fengrun District was arrested by officers from the Changzhuang Police Station on June 18. His home was ransacked, and Falun Dafa books and a bank card with 170,000 yuan on it were confiscated. He was handcuffed and shackled, causing his feet to swell. Mr. Zhuge was released six days later.

Officers from the Shaliuhe Police Station in Fengrun broke into Mr. Yu Guoshen’s home in Caizhuangzi Village and arrested him in the early hours of June 18. They confiscated three boxes of Falun Dafa books and printed materials.

Ms. Ye Suping was arrested by two officers from the Tangshan City Police Department and other officers from the Qishuzhuang Police Station at around 6 p.m. on June 18. She was handcuffed. The officers confiscated a satellite dish and an audio player. Ms. Ye was released one hour later.

6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Xueqi Arrested

Ms. Gao Xueqi was reported to the police on the morning of June 23, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Dongyuan Police Station. The officers confiscated Falun Dafa pamphlets, and 115 yuan paper bills with Falun Dafa information printed on them. She was photographed and had her fingerprints taken.

7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yanfen and Ms. Gao Yuzhen Arrested and Released the Same Day

Ms. Zhang Yanfen from Sunjiazhuang Village and Ms. Gao Yuzhen from Shuangqiao Village, Shuangqiao Town in the Kaiping District were reported to the police on the morning of June 5, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Dafa. They were arrested by officers from the Zhenzi Town Police Station. The officers twisted Ms. Zhang’s arms, punched, and kicked her. Both practitioners returned home that evening.

Officers from the Shuangqiao Police Station and the Zhenzi Police Station ransacked Ms. Zhang’s home, and confiscated an MP3, a copy of Zhuan Falun, Hong Yin, and keepsakes on June 10.

8. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Liu Fenglan Arrested

Ms. Liu Fenglan was arrested at home on June 23, 2020.

9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Qi Arrested

Ms. Guo Qi from Yu County was arrested by Zhang Chengfu, head of the Yu Domestic Security Division, and other officers on the evening of June 24, 2020. She has not yet returned home.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ren Haifei Arrested

Mr. Ren Haifei was arrested by Ganjingzi Police Station officers on the afternoon of June 26, 2020. His home was ransacked.

11. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Kexin’s Home Ransacked

Officers from Zhonghanzhuang Township in Wangdu County went to Mr. Wang Kexin’s home in Nanwangtuan Village on the morning of June 24, 2020. They ransacked the place, and confiscated a laptop and other personal belongings.

12. [Xiangcheng City, Henan Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested, One of Them Released

Ms. Tian Mei, Ms. Li Songmei, Ms. Wang Jing, Ms. Wu Meili, Ms. Zhang Lihua, Mr. Sun Xiangyang, Ms. Tong Guangling, and Ms. Liu Shuying were arrested at Ms. Liu’s home when they gathered to read the Falun Dafa teachings on the morning of June 18, 2020.

Ms. Liu was later released, while the other seven practitioners were taken to the Zhoukou City Detention Center.
