Mr. Guo Baojun from the Erqi District was tried via video-link on the morning of June 13, 2020, by the Zhongyuan District Procuratorate network.

Ms. Fang Lingling was arrested in November 2019. Her whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Facing Trial, Ms. Zhang Yanhua and Ms. Zhang Yanzhi Officially Arrested

Ms. Wang Guilan, Ms. Zhang Xiuyun, Ms. Shang Shuqin, Ms. Heng Xiaofeng, and Ms. Yi Lixia from the Shuangluan District were arrested by officers from the Shuangqiao District Police Department on September 4, 2019. Ms. Wang, Ms. Zhang, and Ms. Shang are being held in the Chengde City Detention Center. Ms. Heng and Ms. Yi were released on bail. The cases against these five practitioners have been filed with the Shuangqiao Court.

Ms. Zhang Yanhua and Ms. Zhang Yanzhi were arrested by officers from the Shuangluan Domestic Security Division on April 20, 2020. The Shuangluan Procuratorate approved the arrests. Both practitioners are being held in the Chengde City Detention Center.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ten Practitioners Detained

Several practitioners in the Xiangfang District were located and arrested by police on April 7, 2020, for talking to people on the phone about the persecution of Falun Gong. 

Ten practitioners are being held in the Zhaozhou Detention Center. They are Mr. Li Lizhuang, Ms. Tang Zhuyin, Ms. Cai Xiuying, Mr. Zhu Mingdi, Ms. Li Yanqing, Mr. Jiao Qihua, Ms. Zhao Lihua, Mr. Huo Xiaohui, Ms. Ding Yan, and Mr. Lang Baohua.

4. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Hongmei and Mr. Li Yan Detained

Ms. Xu Hongmei, 40, and Mr. Li Yan, 50, were arrested by officers from the Liuhao Police Station on May 13, 2020. Their Falun Gong books were confiscated. They were taken to the Hegang City Detention Center for ten days.

5. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Chunying Arrested

Ms. Liu Chunying from Luobojiao Village, Zhangxianggong Township in the Nanpiao District was arrested at home by officers from the Nanpiao Police Department on June 12, 2020.

6. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Shaojie Facing Trial

Mr. Ma Shaojie is being detained. He is due to be tried in the Guan County Court on June 16, 2020.

7. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Li Zhongye Arrested and Released

Mr. Li Zhongye was arrested at home by plainclothes officers on the morning of May 14, 2020. His Falun Gong books and a picture of Falun Gong's founder were confiscated. He was later released.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yanhua Arrested, Mr. Liu Zejiang Arrested and Released the Same Day

Ms. Wang Yanhua from Wenquan Village in Sujiatuo Town was arrested by officers from the Sujiatuo Police Station on April 25, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong fliers. She was taken to the Haidian District Detention Center, but was not admitted because of her high blood pressure. She was released later in the day.

Mr. Liu Zejiang was arrested at home by director Yang Chen and other officers from the Mulin Town Police Station around midnight on May 27. His home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books, a picture of Falun Gong's founder, computers, cell phones, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

9. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners' Cases Passed to Procuratorate, Mr. Zhang Kehui's Original Sentence Upheld

Ms. Sun Xuexin and her husband Mr. Tang Haihai were arrested by officers from the Xiangmihu Police Station in March 2020 after they returned from a trip to the USA. They are being held in the Nanshan District Detention Center. Their case is now with the Nanshan Procuratorate.

Ms. Che Lihua, 75, is being held in the Futian District Detention Center. Her case has been passed to the Nanshan Procuratorate.

Mr. Zhang Kehui was arrested on May 29, 2018. He was sentenced to three years and three months in prison. He appealed, but Judge Tu Junfeng from the Shenzhen Intermediate Court upheld the original verdict on May 20, 2020.

10. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Xiushun Arrested

Mr. Zhao Xiushun from Zhaojia Village in the Gucheng Neighborhood was arrested by officers from the Shouguang City Domestic Security Division and the Gucheng Police Station on June 10, 2020. His Falun Gong books, a picture of Falun Gong's founder, computers, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Shuhua Tried

Ms. Zhang Shuhua was arrested by officers from the Kaixuanlu Police Station in the early hours of September 4, 2019. Her Falun Gong books, computers, cell phones, and other personal belongings were confiscated. She is being held in the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang was tried in the Kuancheng District Court on June 12, 2020.

12. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Yaolai and Her Husband Mr. Li Derong Arrested

Ms. Wang Yaolai and her husband Mr. Li Derong, in his 70s, from the Dongli District were arrested at home by officers from Zhangguizhuang Police Station on the morning of May 13, 2020. Their home was ransacked.

13. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Huixin Detained

Ms. Ma Huixin from Anguo City was arrested by officers from the Yaocheng Police Station on the afternoon of June 13, 2020. She is being held in the Anguo Police Department.

14. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Jiang Zengchao and his sister Ms. Jiang Hongyan from the Ranghulu District were arrested by officers from the Longnan Police Department in mid-May 2020. Ms. Jiang was held in the Taikang Detention Center for 20 days. She was able to get her cell phone and car returned after she paid 40,000 yuan. Mr. Jiang is still being held in the Lindian County Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Yanxia from Zhaoyuan County was arrested by officers from the Zhaoyuan Police Department and the Ranghulu Procuratorate on June 12. She is being held in the Lindian Detention Center.

Mr. Lu Yaming, Mr. Guo Shen, and Mr. Tang Zhi’an were arrested for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
