(Minghui.org) Fourteen Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province residents were arrested between November 22 and 23, 2020 for their faith in Falun Gong. Most of them had their homes ransacked and their personal belongings confiscated. Five practitioners remain in custody at the time of writing.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient spiritual and meditation discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Six practitioners were arrested on Sunday, November 22, 2020 after they were deceived into opening their doors for plainclothes officers pretending to be from property management.
The six practitioners are: Ms. Wang Jianhui, Mr. Gao Hongbin and his wife Ms. Wang Luhua, Ms. Han Lihua, Ms. Zhang Lihua and Ms. Hu (given name unknown). Mr. Gao had his home ransacked.
Ms. Wang Luhua and Ms. Zhang were released on bail at 3 a.m. on November 23. The other four practitioners were sent to the Daqing Detention Center.
The officers that participated in the arrests include Gu Songhai, the director of the Heilongjiang Province 610 Office, an extralegal agency created to persecute Falun Gong; Liu Guodong, the head of the Daqing Domestic Security Division; Cheng, director of the Tieren Police Station and a dozen officers.
Five practitioners, including Ms. Wang Xinglian and her guests Ms. Niu, Ms. Zhao Shufen, Mr. Wang Kui, and Ms. Liu Shujuan, were arrested on November 22.
Ms. Wang, who is legally blind, had all of her Falun Gong books, photos of Falun Gong’s founder, three printers, and two laptops, confiscated. Mr. Wang had his computer, printer, and Falun Gong books taken away. Ms. Zhao’s Falun Gong books and photo of Falun Gong’s founder were seized.
The five practitioners were brought to the Longnan Police Station for interrogation. They were released before midnight. More details about their cases remain to be investigated.
Ms. Wang Xiuping was arrested at 5 p.m. on November 22 at her daughter’s home by officers from the Donghu Police Station. She has since been released due to a health condition.
Ms. Wang Xiujie was arrested on November 22 by officers from the Huoju Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong.
Ms. Sheng Xiaoyun was arrested at home at 2 p.m. on November 23 by three officers from the Chengfeng Police Station. The police said that someone reported her for promoting Falun Gong. Three officers ransacked her home in front of her 80-year-old mother and confiscated her Falun Gong books and an mp3 for playing the Falun Gong exercise music.
After the home raid, another five officers came and brought Ms. Sheng to the police station. She was released at around 5 p.m.

Gu Songhai (顾松海), director of the Heilongjiang Province 610 Office, has organized many brainwashing centers where he has intimidated and tortured practitioners in attempts to force them to give up Falun Gong. His cellphone number is +86-13339300100.
Yang Bo (杨波), head of the Heilongjiang Province Domestic Security Division, often stays in Daqing City and has orchestrated several group arrests of practitioners. He has personally interrogated and pressured practitioners, as well as fabricated evidence to charge them. His cellphone number is +86-15945183001.
