Dafa Disciples Are the Protagonists in this Great Battle Between Good and Evil

(Minghui.org) The battle between good and evil surrounding the U.S. presidential election has now entered a very critical stage. After two weeks of intensely sending forth righteous thoughts by Dafa disciples around the world, the evil shows no sign of defeat and has even gained the upper hand slightly. Could it be that a large number of Dafa disciples haven't cultivated well that caused such an undesirable outcome? Could it be that the old forces are exploiting Dafa disciples' loophole of pinning our hopes of disintegrating the Chinese Communist Party and ending its persecution of Falun Dafa on Trump and his administration?

The Essence of the Current Situation

“The only one who can guide Dafa disciples’ progress is Master.” (“Watch Out for Breeding Demons in One’s Own Mind,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress, Vol. III)

The fundamental reason why the old forces arranged the election fraud is not to target Trump, but Dafa disciples. The balance of good and evil power in the world and the progress of Trump’s legal battles are the specific reflections of the battle between divine and evil in other dimensions. The battle in other dimensions is the key factor that determines the outcome in the human world.

When Dafa disciples send forth righteous thoughts, it will eliminate evil factors from other dimensions that directly interfere with the U.S. presidential election. If we do it well, we may see Trump gaining more confidence and righteous thoughts, his legal team filing more heavyweight lawsuits and winning them, and more people standing up to support Trump. At the same time, it will also make the evil fearful and weak and there will be fighting among themselves before their ultimate demise.

Dafa disciples are the decisive factor and the protagonist in this battle between good and evil. We need to look within to eliminate all excuses and reasons for non-action and be able to fundamentally negate the evil arrangements of the old forces, and send righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. Dafa disciples should play the leading role instead of placing our hopes in ordinary people.

Hard Lesson Learned

We know that all significant events in the human world are related to the overall cultivation state of Dafa disciples. When such a massive fraud happened on the free soil of the United States, is it because a significant number of our Dafa disciples have loopholes in cultivation? Did we place our hopes of eliminating the Chinese Communist Party and ending its persecution of Falun Dafa in an ordinary person (U.S. President Donald Trump) and the U.S. government? Could it be that the old forces are trying to exploit our loopholes and find excuses to replace Trump?

Master reminded us before:

“A little while back a lot of students were thinking: "The CCP is going to hold its 16th Congress soon. If that head demon in China, that wretch of the earth, steps down, then won't our Dafa's good name be restored? Who'd want to inherit that burden, and who'd be as stupid as it is?" That kind of thinking isn't wrong in the ordinary society, but it's not right for a cultivator.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. II)

We all learned that hard lesson from the undesirable outcome of the CCP Congress, and we should not repeat the same mistake this time around with the U.S. election.

Saving Sentient Beings Is Our Only Purpose

We all know now that, on the surface, Dafa disciples’ exposing the evil nature of the CCP is to resist the persecution. Our fundamental purpose is to enable more sentient beings to distinguish right from wrong in the process, get rid of the poisonous lies instilled by the CCP, understand the illegality and brutality of the persecution, have a positive attitude toward Falun Dafa, and be saved.

I understand that, since the CCP is nothing, Dafa disciples’ clarifying the truth is not aimed at the CCP but to save sentient beings. We certainly should not expect the U.S. government to use its military and technological might to destroy the evil Chinese communist regime. If the divine wants to eliminate the CCP, it will be done in no time and there will be no need for a fleet of American carriers.

My understanding is that Trump is the chosen one. As an outsider who had never held office before, Trump was elected President of the United States miraculously in 2016. He soon began a series of strikes against the CCP, including directly asking the CCP to stop persecuting Falun Dafa. What he did was in line with the great heavenly climate of eliminating the CCP and giving the world’s people a chance to choose a bright future. When we send righteous thoughts, we don’t have any political aspirations nor do we involve ourselves in politics – our purpose is to save more sentient beings.

A righteous American president and the American government will have a positive impact on the entire world. It will promote an upright environment on earth and create a social environment more conducive for Dafa disciples to save sentient beings. It will also encourage more governments and people to have righteous thoughts and be fearless in the face of the CCP's intimidation and threats, and eventually make the righteous choice at the critical historic juncture.

This is in line with Master's arrangement and goal for Dafa disciples to save more sentient beings, and it is one of the fundamental reasons why many Dafa disciples take the initiative to send righteous thoughts to remove the evil communist elements that are keeping President Trump from being re-elected.

Our Possible Loopholes

Below are some possible loopholes I have observed among practitioners.

1. Doubts and Negative Thoughts

Some practitioners have doubts about and are resistant to Trump. Their attachments generated the negative substance in other dimensions, which weakened the power of other practitioners’ righteous thoughts.

Master gave a similar example in one of the Fa teachings:

“So now you know the reason why it was a real struggle to sell tickets this past year. Another thing is, there was a portion of students who sent righteous thoughts as a group [to help the situation]. Sending righteous thoughts is of course done to clear out evil that blocks us from saving people, and there is little of the evil left, in fact. Clearing out evil is a good thing, of course. Could it not have an impact when so many people were sending righteous thoughts? It did have an impact. However, we need to look at what some people were sending out when sending righteous thoughts. They would be sitting there, palm erect, but their thoughts would not be righteous, “How come we’re taking this approach this year? I did a great job selling tickets last year. Why are they making me send righteous thoughts here when I could be out selling tickets? Why do we have to target society’s cultural mainstream? These tickets are so expensive—who’s going to buy them?!” (Laughter) While it sounds funny to hear this now, that was in fact an extremely widespread phenomenon.” (“Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)

On the surface, Dafa disciples are sending forth righteous thoughts around the world for an ordinary person, but having Trump re-elected is neither our starting point nor the ultimate goal. Dafa disciples do not have any political aspirations or demands. No Dafa disciple wants to land a job in Trump's new administration or receive funding or rewards from the U.S. government.

The fundamental reason Dafa disciples send righteous thoughts is to safeguard Dafa, oppose the persecution, eradicate the evil, negate the arrangements of the old forces, and stop the old forces and the evil CCP from extending the persecution to the United States. Master's choosing to live in the United States instead of France as initially arranged by the old forces is to save more sentient beings. What we are doing is also to harmonize Master’s choice.

2. Master Is in Charge, We Don't Have to Worry

Some fellow practitioners feel that Master is in charge, and what we do is not going to affect the outcome. But I believe resisting the persecution and saving sentient beings is our responsibility.

Master told us:

“Saving non-practitioners is supposed to be your responsibility. [The way it’s supposed to be is that] I save you, and you save them. Now I am even helping you do it, so if you don’t do it, are you a Dafa disciple?” (“Fa Teaching at the 2019 New York Fa Conference,” Team Yellow Translation)

For the final result of this election, I understand that Master will definitely arrange for the re-election of Donald Trump. Just like Shen Yun's ticket sales, Master will definitely arrange for a full house. However, in many cases, the final attendance at a Shen Yun show might be unsatisfactory because of the cultivation state and coordination issues of the local practitioners. In other words, if we don’t do well on the matter of the U.S. election, we may not be able to meet Master's arrangements and requirements in the end, which will bring losses to saving sentient beings.

3. Following Media Run by Dafa Practitioners

Master told us:

“The only one who can guide Dafa disciples’ progress is Master.” (“Watch Out for Breeding Demons in One’s Own Mind,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress, Vol. III)

However, because of the rapid rise and expansion of the media run by Dafa practitioners, some practitioners unconsciously regard the media and its content, which target non-practitioners, as their guide in cultivation.

For example, under the influence of the media, some practitioners believe the purpose of sending righteous thoughts is to support Trump to fight the evil. They think that we are playing a supporting role for him, rather than taking the Fa as our guide and playing the leading role in this big show as we should. We need to be clear that ordinary people are to cooperate with practitioners. We are the ones to help Master rectify the Fa and save sentient beings.

4. Inaccurate Understanding of Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

Some practitioners are not clear about the essentials and requirements for sending righteous thoughts, which affects how successful the effort is.

I would recommend carefully reading the Minghui editorial “The Essentials of Sending Righteous Thoughts and the Time to Send Righteous Thoughts Globally (Update)” and Master's teachings on that.

5. Not Able to Guarantee Daily Exercises and Fa Study

In this battle between the righteous and the evil, only by studying the Fa well can we maintain focused, powerful, and determined righteous thoughts and not be driven and interfered with by ordinary people's distracting thoughts and human hearts.

Our doing the exercises will reinforce our supernatural powers, enhance and restore our energy, and ensure the power to eliminate evil. If I do not do the exercises, I can feel it when I send forth righteous thoughts – it is not as powerful and I tend to get tired.

6. Some Still Believe We Are Involved in Politics

Of course, there are still some practitioners, including some Westerners, who don't recognize this and think we're involved in politics and refuse to participate in sending righteous thoughts. Some are concerned that their family members won't understand. Isn’t this a good opportunity to clarify the truth, help them understand, and make the right choice? What will happen if we neglect our duty and not save our own families?

I understand from the Fa teachings that it is perfectly alright to ask Master for support when disciples encounter difficulties in their cultivation. I suggest that we ask Master to strengthen us in sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil so that we can win this crucial battle between good and evil in the final process of the Fa-rectification.
