A Man’s Fate Changes after Signing a Petition to End the CCP

Oct. 29, 2020 |   By a practitioner in Israel

(Minghui.org) I am a Western practitioner, and have been involved with truth clarification activities at the Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party Center in Flushing, New York, for many years. I now live in Israel but continue to assist with truth-clarification activities both here and at the New York center.

The center recently initiated an effort to ask people around the world to sign a petition to “Eliminate the demon CCP.”

Efforts to help Chinese people quit the CCP have been ongoing for almost 16 years, and practitioners around the world have helped over 365 million people quit the CCP thus far. People around the world have also become more and more aware of the movement.

With the spread of the CCP virus this year to countries around the world, many people I know have expressed a great deal of anger at the CCP for withholding information about the virus and its virulence during the first 4-6 weeks of the epidemic. They attribute the global spread of the CCP virus directly to the CCP’s evil nature.

My wife and I visited friends between the two national lockdowns. They are a couple, and my wife has known the woman since childhood.

We have clarified the truth to them over the years. This time, I decided I would speak with them about signing the petition to eliminate the CCP.

The man is a bit older and has adult children. Over the past several years he has had difficulty finding a steady job. He has worked low-paying and multiple part-time jobs, and has been moving from one job to another.

He grew up under the communist regime in Romania and moved to Israel as a young man. He was very clear on the evil nature of communism and has been very supportive of Falun Gong.

As I walked to their apartment I was thinking about how I would share the petition with them. I was a little concerned about how he would react to the aspect of calling the CCP the “demon CCP.”

Over the years of clarifying the truth, I have always tried to avoid speaking at too high a level, which people might not understand. I’ve tried to use language that most people can accept.

This time, I planned to talk about organ harvesting and the crimes of the CCP, and when talking about Falun Dafa, I would talk about the exercises and about Dafa's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

I carefully avoided language that people might object to. But is avoiding language that people might object to the same as not talking at a high level? This was the question in my mind as we headed to the couple’s home.

When I observed Chinese practitioners explain the facts to Chinese people years before in Flushing, they were telling people, “Heaven will destroy the CCP.” They advised their listeners not to side with the CCP in persecuting Falun Gong, to save themselves and their families.

Chinese practitioners talked about heaven, retribution for evildoers, and miracles when they clarified the truth. They told people to say, “Falun Dafa hao” and “Zhen, Shan, Ren hao.” (Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good.)

At the time I wondered if some parts of their approach were a bit extreme. But I believe that many Chinese in Flushing have come to respect Falun Dafa practitioners and support Falun Dafa.

We live in a world that denies the existence of the divine. It’s almost like, if one speaks about heaven, he will be regarded as having lost his reason. But that’s not true. Atheism is a product of communism.

I thought to myself, “Chinese practitioners also clarify the truth to people who have been deeply influenced by atheism.”

I feel that we should not fail to address heavenly matters because ordinary people might be unwilling to listen. We don’t follow ordinary people; they follow us.

These were the thoughts in my mind as I walked to our friends’ home.

I decided I would not avoid talking about heaven, matters of the divine, or about “eliminating the demon CCP.”

As is usually the case between the husband and myself, the subject of China and the Chinese Communist Party came up quickly. We talked a lot about the crimes committed by the CCP. We were talking about how widespread organ harvesting is taking place in China, and I mentioned how China’s organ transplant data follows a simple mathematical formula, indicating that it is falsified. I then told him how the data submitted by the CCP to the World Health Organization regarding the CCP virus infections in the early stages also followed a simple mathematical formula, indicating that it too was false. We talked about how the CCP had covered up the evidence of infections early-on and how that played an important role in the spread of the virus around the world. This was something he was very angry about.

Part way through our conversation, I told him there was a new petition organized by the people who helped Chinese people quit the CCP. I told him the petition was called “Eliminate the demon CCP.” I told him those words were very special, that they could help him, and that he should keep them in mind.

He asked me to text him the link for the petition and said he would look through it.

About three months later, just as the second lockdown was ending, his wife contacted us again, asking my wife to come to teach her the exercises.

We went to their home, and while my wife taught her friend how to do the exercises and showed her the link to the video exercises on the Minghui website, the man and I continued talking.

He told me that he had found a new job two months prior, as a purchasing manager, which is what he had done most of his life. He had been looking intently for a job for about six months. However, the job situation was not good, and he was a bit old, so it was hard to find employment.

He nevertheless found a job at a good hi-tech company selling industrial electronic units to Europe and the U.S. It paid a good salary, the work was excellent, and he had a nice big office overlooking the sea.

He emphasized a few times that this was a God-given job.

I had a little thought in the back of my mind. I asked him if he had signed the petition, and he said he had. I asked him later, if he didn’t mind my asking, when he had signed the petition, and he said, “About two or three months ago.”

I didn’t say anything at the time, but my understanding at my level, and there are many levels beyond mine, is that his signing the petition to “Eliminate the demon CCP” changed his fate.
