(Minghui.org) As a Falun Dafa practitioner of twenty years, I have changed from someone who was selfish and sickly to a cultivator who puts others first. Despite the persecution of Falun Dafa in China, I try to measure up to the standard of a cultivator and be kind to others.
I'd like to share a few stories from my cultivation to validate the goodness of Falun Dafa.
A company manager and I took our customers on a sightseeing trip last March. We had planned to introduce our newest product to customers on the bus ride. But the microphone stopped working, and the tour guide was very anxious. She kept asking the bus driver to stop along the way so she could buy another microphone. Unfortunately, after several stops, she still couldn't find any microphones that would work with the speaker system on the bus. The customers were getting impatient.
I told the manager sitting next to me, “If you recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' with me, we may find a microphone at the next stop.” The manager looked at me doubtfully and said nothing.
After about fifteen minutes, we came up to a small rest stop. As soon as the bus pulled in, the tour guide rushed out searching for the microphone. She saw another local bus parked at the rest stop. She explained our situation to that driver, who lent her a microphone with no questions asked. As our tour guide ran back to the bus holding up the microphone, the manager clapped and said, “It’s a miracle! it’s a miracle!”
Mr. C is one of our top clients with over 100 million dollars in assets. He is well-known locally and has many connections. However, several years ago, some of his competitors tried to destroy his business. Mr. C tried to use his influence to work things out, but his competitors were strong and had the backing of some high officials. One day I ran into Mrs. C, who said to me, “Mr. C has been driven crazy. Please go and see him.”
I went to Mr. C's home that evening. He knew I practiced Falun Dafa and asked if I could help him escape his predicament.
“If you and your wife withdraw from the Communist Party and its organizations,” I said, “and if you sincerely recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ you will be protected by heaven.”
“Are you sure?” Mr. C asked me skeptically.
“If your hearts are sincere, it will work. Why don't you give it a try?” I told him.
I left them a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and a decorative charm with the words “Falun Dafa” on it.
A few days later, Mrs. C told me that both she and her husband agreed to withdraw from the Communist Party and that they had been sincerely reciting the two sentences I told them.
About a week later, I got a call from Mrs. C. “The charm you gave us is really amazing! Our competitors withdrew, and everything is back to normal now.”
Since then, whenever Mr. C sees me, he shouts, “Falun Dafa is good!” and shows me the ornament I gave him. He said it brought him good luck and that he carried it with him at all times. His business is now growing well, and everything is going smoothly for him.
I am a sales manager for a large finance company in China. In recent years, as China’s economy continued to slump, our company's profits also declined year by year. But, to the surprise of many, my sales performance steadily grew.
For refusing to renounce my faith in Falun Dafa, I was taken to a brainwashing center for almost a month the year before last, yet my sales performance that year was still the second best in the entire company.
When company executives and colleagues congratulated me, I told them that the honor belonged to them because they had treated me kindly. During the time I was detained at the brainwashing center, my managers went there several times to demand my release.
The branch office I work at is relatively small, so my sales performance stood out. As a result, upper management asked me to speak at our annual sales conference as the sales leader. At the conference, I shared the experiences I had gained over the years without any reservation. I also told everyone that my success came from cultivating truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance–the principles of Falun Dafa.
I have a co-worker who is kind and spirited. She had been married for many years but couldn't conceive a child. For a few years, she tried treatments at hospitals and prayer in temples, to no avail.
One morning, she saw several plainclothes police officers at the entrance to our office building. She ran to my office to tell me about it. She put my portable hard drive and my bank cards in her desk drawer to protect them. After the police took me away, she called my family and tried to comfort them.
Two months later, she found out that she was pregnant. She had a baby boy just as she had wished for. She tells everyone that her son is a blessing from heaven and that I had brought good luck to her. I told her that it was her kindness that brought her the blessing because she had protected me, a Dafa practitioner.
