(Minghui.org) The public park at Beicai town center is an oasis in the densely-populated Shanghai metropolis, the largest city in China by population. The park has water features and green spaces, as well as basketball courts, tennis courts and exercise areas, and is free to nearby residents.

However, if you look closely, you will notice over a dozen display cases spread around the south side of the park. Each contains a board that has innuendo and defamatory language against Falun Dafa.

The locked cases are made of stainless steel, to thwart any attempts to remove the display boards. A sign next to the park gate reads, “Beicai Anti-Cult Theme Park.” The guard stations on both sides of the gate are staffed around the clock, and there are also security guards patrolling the area at all hours. Numerous surveillance cameras are also aimed at the park entrance and various walking paths.

The cost of maintaining surveillance on the park is no small amount for the township government. And its purpose is clearly to brainwash the public while they are relaxing and exercising at the park. The Chinese communist regime is again using every opportunity to slander Falun Dafa and poison the public with lies.

Falun Dafa is based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and it teaches people to value virtue and be kind. It poses no harm to any society. It's been openly practiced in countries around the world, except for China.

Former Chinese president Jiang Zemin and his gang insisted on persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. The government officials of Beicai know very well that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people, yet they still blindly follow orders to continue defaming and slandering Falun Dafa.

Why is it necessary to brainwash the public?

Once people understand the values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, they will be able to discern the sham, evil, and violence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). When the Chinese people accept the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, the evil CCP will disintegrate. Duping people into believing that good is bad is really what the CCP needs to maintain its evil regime.

People say, “Lying makes one wicked, slandering others incurs karma, and slandering the Buddha Dharma will land one in hell for eternity.” There are many examples of those who have persecuted Falun Dafa meeting with karmic retribution.

We hope that those who have participated in slandering Falun Dafa will wake up to the truth for their own sake.
