(Minghui.org) Whatever Master has arranged is always the best, so there's no need for us to be concerned about when Fa-rectification will end.
It is normal for practitioners to think about the persecution ending because it's still on-going. Some like to read what people have prophesied and look to see if current disasters fit those prophesies. When the time that was prophesied arrives, but the persecution has not ended, these practitioners have a hard time accepting it.
Master gave an example of a man who had a stroke,
“This says something about how hard it is to save a person—you do so much for him but he still doesn’t realize it, and instead he says stuff like that.” (Zhuan Falun)
Master has done much to extend the time of Fa-rectification for us so that we can save more people. But some practitioners do not realize it and even complain that the persecution has not ended yet.
Master said,
“Some people don’t get it. Their teachers tell them, "Don’t go seek it, don’t go seek it," but they just don’t believe it and they keep on seeking after it so stubbornly, and they get the exact opposite of what they wanted.” (Zhuan Falun)
When we talk about how soon things will end or that, “the time left for us is running out,” a hidden attachment is exposed. This mentality can become interference.
Master said,
“When you look at things from the level of an ordinary person, or from that standpoint, or that level of awareness, there’s no way you’re going to understand what is real.” (Zhuan Falun)
We may be forgetting that we have a responsibility to save people. The time we have to fulfill our responsibility is short and we have to be diligent.
From another standpoint, any day could be the last day for some lives. It is my personal understanding that a lot of decisions are made every moment during the Fa-rectification process. Our thoughts and actions at any given moment can determine whether lives are saved or eliminated.
The practitioners who have the inappropriate wish that things will end soon, their behavior is not respectful of Master or the Fa.
Master's arrangements are beyond our understanding. We should happily accept them and be confident that they are the best without inserting our own notions or understandings.
Master said,
“This instant is precious beyond measure.” (“Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference VII)
We have waited millions of years and suffered numerous tribulations in order to be here at this precious moment. How could we wish it to end soon and not use the time wisely!
These are my personal understandings. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
