(Minghui.org) A practitioner walked into a residential subdivision one day and saw two older men chatting. The practitioner gave one man a pamphlet about Falun Dafa and was about to give the other man a copy, too.
The first man said, “Don't give it to him. He’s a former police chief.” His intention was to protect the practitioner.
But the former chief asked for a copy and flipped through a few pages. He then said to the practitioner, “Actually, I respect you [Falun Dafa practitioners] very much. Although [the government] has persecuted [Falun Dafa] for 18 years, you are still standing. The persistence of your belief is truly respectable.”
The Political and Legal Affairs Committee is an organization established to persecute Falun Dafa. The wife of a committee leader started practicing Falun Dafa because of her illness. The leader has since retired and he supports his wife in practicing Falun Dafa.
One day, he saw a “Falun Dafa is Good” self-adhesive label on the wall in the hallway of his apartment building. He took it down carefully and showed it to his wife, “Look, someone stuck a 'Falun Dafa is Good' label in our building.”
His wife asked why he took it down and brought it home. He said he wanted to let her see it in person because she rarely went outside.
“It's better to let more people see it,” she said, and she stuck the label on the wall in the hallway again.
One practitioner was arrested while distributing truth clarifying materials about Falun Dafa and the persecution because a man guarding the bicycles tipped-off the police.
During the interrogation, a member of the 610 Office yelled at her, “You must have a lot of Nine Commentaries at home!”
She replied calmly, “As you can see, the Nine Commentaries is about the true history of the Chinese Communist Party.”
The man had nothing to say and closed his mouth.
Another police officer released the practitioner and told her to report to the police substation once a week.
So she brought a new piece of material to the police substation every week for the officers to read.
The street committee later heard the story, so the director said to her, “You live in our street committee's jurisdiction. You should bring us some truth clarifying materials too.”
The practitioner agreed. From then on, she visited both the street committee and the police station every week. People working there soon learned the truth and could make good choices for their families and themselves.
