Keelung, Taiwan: Shen Yun Concludes 2017 Asia Tour

(Minghui.org) Shen Yun Performing Arts concluded its month-long Taiwan tour with a final performance in Keelung on March 21, 2017, also marking the completion its 2017 Asia Tour.

The New York Company of Shen Yun Performing Arts staged over 50 sold-out shows in 13 cities in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, which began in late January.

Reviews by attendees highlighted the company's artistry, cultural authenticity, and spirituality.

“Within Their Hearts They Must Have A Common Pure Soul”

“Within their hearts, they must have a common pure soul, making it possible for them to [perform] so seamlessly and bringing [so many elements] together. This has put me in awe,” said Wu Chin-fa, the director of the Cultural Affairs Department of Pingtung County Government.

“I sensed an energy coming from the stage. It was flowing. I could clearly sense it—an energy flowing from the stage to the audience,” Mr. Wu said.

“If there were a hundred groups like Shen Yun, I believe our world would be even better,” he added.

“Touching and Happy Performance”

“What Shen Yun has left me with, is a touching and happy performance,” said Fan Sun-Lu, the director general of Kaohsiung Education Bureau.

“Every artist is so dedicated to their performance. They presented the beauty and purity of the arts,” Ms. Fan commented.

“Shen Yun’s perfect presentation of the legendary stories with cultural content in various dynasties is something unprecedented,” she said.

“World-class Performance with High Artistry”

Mr. Chao donated 100 tickets to the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, which brought many children of underprivileged families to see the show.

“This is a world-class performance with high artistry. It also fully brings to life historical facts to the world’s audience,” said Mr. Chao.

“I believe Shen Yun is doing something very important with its global tour. Now, traditional Chinese culture cannot be seen in China. Shen Yun has preserved the culture in its most authentic form,” Mr. Chao said.

“Visual and Audio Feast”

“Shen Yun is a visual and audio feast,” said Ms. Chung. “I think it can help cultivate our positive energy and cleanse our souls.”

“I hope I can lead my orchestra with Shen Yun’s spirit. I’ll learn from Shen Yun so as to elevate my level,” she added.

“Transcended the Highest Level in the World”

“Artistically, spiritually and culturally, Shen Yun has made a stunning achievement,” said Mr. Wu.

“The dancers’ moves were so nimble and skillful, and so agile as well... They seemed like they had help from gods,” Mr. Wu said.

“I'm blown away by the artistic director. His artistry has transcended the highest level in the world,” he said.
