Xinxiang Women’s Prison Continues to Abuse Falun Gong Practitioners

February 28, 2017 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Henan Province, China

(Minghui.org) The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners remains unabated in Xinxiang Women’s Prison in Henan Province.

Those who refuse to renounce Falun Gong are usually held in Division Nine for six months before being moved to another division, where they are forced to do hard labor for more than 10 hours every day.

The guards in Division Nine forced practitioners to attend brainwashing sessions every day. Anyone refuses to cooperate is beaten and deprived of sleep.

Ms. Qin Haixian, in her 60s, died as a result of the never-ending abuse on April 5, 2014, just 12 days before her scheduled release.

Ms. Wang Qiuju was put in solitary confinement many times.

Ms. Wang Wanrong was sentenced to 5 years following her arrest in November 2012. When she went on a hunger strike in prison, she was taken to the prison hospital for force-feeding twice a day. She has spent a total of two years in solitary confinement.
