(Minghui.org) Last October, I tried to get online at a Postal Savings Bank, but the WiFi was down. While I was talking to the manager about the problem, I noticed that there were posters denouncing Falun Gong displayed on the bulletin board.
I knew that the manager had just recently been appointed to the branch. She seemed friendly, so I talked to her about Falun Gong. I informed her that Falun Gong is freely practiced everywhere except China, and that practitioners share the beauty of the practice and expose the persecution in cities all over the world. Only in China are practitioners arbitrarily arrested and sentenced to prison for exposing the brutal and unjust 18-year persecution.
She was interested to learn the truth and told me that before 1999, her mother had practiced Falun Gong and she herself had read Zhuan Falun. I asked her if she should allow the poisonous display to remain in her branch. She stated she hadn’t even noticed until I pointed it out. I asked her if I could remove the posters and burn them; she agreed.
I also helped her quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I told her that her bank would be blessed because she defended Falun Gong. She then thanked me.
One snowy day, another practitioner and I went out to talk to people about Falun Gong. We encountered a young girl, and struck up a friendly conversation with her.
She said she was 13, and that she had just finished a weekend class.
We talked for a while, then I told that there were so many calamities in the world these days. I suggested that she could avoid harm by quitting the Young Pioneers, one of the CCP organizations for children. We also talked about the staged self-immolation on Tiananmen Square, and how it had been fabricated to turn people against Falun Gong.
She was a bit shocked, but happy to learn the truth. Her eyes emanated a pure innocence, and she listened intently as I told her about Falun Gong's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I told her that it is best to always be a truthful, kind person, and that she should be patient and not compete with others.
She agreed to quit the Young Pioneers before going on her way. I was so happy for her!
