Appeals Office Staff Quit the Communist Party

November 07, 2017 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) I was reading the Falun Dafa books at home a few days ago when my door shook. I thought it was my child having some fun and ignored it. The shaking stopped but soon started again. When I asked what was going on, my husband told me that personnel from the Appeals Office was outside.

When I opened the door, I saw the village party secretary and asked what was going on. Then, two more people from that office showed up. I asked what they wanted.

One of them appeared to have a stomach ache and asked to use the bathroom. When he came out, he tried to take a photo, and I told him to stop. I told him that it was a bad idea to come to my house. He said he suddenly felt like vomiting again.

I said, “Your feeling bad is a warning. Something bad might happen to you unless you apologize to the founder of Falun Dafa for participating in the persecution and declare your withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Trust me, I'm saying this for your sake.”

He told me to help him quit the Party, but I said that he had to write the statement. After the village party secretary gave him a pen and paper, he wrote that he would quit the Party. In addition, he wrote, “All the bad things I said about Falun Dafa is null and void. I believe that Falun Dafa is good.” Then, he signed his real name.

His stomach was fine after he finished his statement. He said, “I'm so lucky I came here today. Falun Dafa is good!”

Then, the other official also quit the Party. He asked for an amulet and said, “I will put it around my neck.” I told him that I had run out of amulets but would give him some other Dafa materials. He asked for some paper currency with Dafa information written on them. As I had none, he said he would return later to get them.

I told them not to harass other Falun Dafa practitioners or the statement they wrote would be void. He nodded and said, “Got it.” According to other practitioners, he has not harassed any practitioners.
